That was seriously the best thing EVER. I only wish he'd have done Little People, and the song Eponine sings with Marius while she's dying. One day more is my favorite Les Mis song!

So happy when Les Mis won best comedy or musical! Hugh and Anne won for best actor and best supporting actress.
Normally I couldn't care less about award shows but it's Les Mis related so I feel obligated to pay attention

I freaked out because literally two minutes after I turned on the TV they started talking about Les Mis. IT WAS SO PERFECT. I'm just a little sad about how little recognition Samantha Barks is getting for playing Eponine, they never released her movie poster and I feel like she is just ridiculously under-appreciated.

Also have any of you heard about how Tom Hooper, the director, said that if there was enough interest they might release the original 4-hour cut of the movie?!?!? There's a petition somewhere on the internet, I'm just praying to god they will release it...

username: courfeyrac (funny story i used to be thenardier but recently i've fallen impossibly in love with all the amis and their part of the story whoops)
favorite characters: snorts loudly,, ,,,, i honestly have no idea? too many, but here's to attempting to list a few -
enjolras, grantaire, eponine, the thenardiers maybe??? corfeyrac or gavroche also maybe ?? and javert, possibly.
how you became a fan: my school's drama group put on a production of it last year four our musical, and it's funny because besides the name and the all too familiar cosette logo, i knew absolutely nothing about it. first time us crewbies went to go see the cast perform? i walked in and out of there absolutely clueless; all i knew was that the "prostitute and innkeeper songs" were funny and catchy and i was excited to watch them again the next day. by the end of our final production i was so deeply in love with the show and i knew it so well, suffering quite a horrible post-show depression for the week or two afterward. eheh, i got over the whole thing, though, and i was relatively fine until last october/november when i found out there was a production going on in chicago that my dad would let me go to. i started relistening to all of the music again, i bought a 24601 shirt at the show that remains to be one of my favorite shirts to wear now, and i couldn't stop being excited because i was constantly anticipating the release of the movie.
...which brings me to now because the movie dragged me back down into such a deep addiction that i can't handle anymore. i bought a really old copy of the book on ebay that should be arriving later this week and i'm absolutely determined to read it all through.
with all that said, i figured i should probably join you guys here. :>
