Runes in Hats! Squee! ^^

This summer my Runes have decided to throw a big Rune (and Elkrin!) party to celebrate the opening of the new website (and the somewhat belated first year anniversary)! Every Rune and Elkrin is invited to join in the fun - BUT my Runes are very classy, and they've decided this party requires a dress code, namely: "You Must Wear A Hat". What type of hat you ask? Why any hat! It's a Rune Hat party! ^^

So, here's the gist, I'm going to be drawing all of my Runes in hats and spats and all types of things this month, because Runes in Hats are awesome. I think it'd be fantastic if fellow fans of putting Runes (and Elkrin) in hats would join me. ^^ There's really no requirement except to draw one or more of your Runes/Elkrin in hats. They can be all dressed up, or just in a hat - they can be silly, or serious, they can be at the party, or just playing dress up; the hats can be part of a story, or simply for fun, whatever you'd like! So long as there is a hat somewhere in the drawing. The quality of the art doesn't matter. It can just be a simple sketch, or a big painting. And please, draw as many as you like! This is all just for fun! If you have the owner's permission you may draw your friend's Runes or Elkrin in hats as well. ^^

And as a little incentive, everyone who participates can expect a little goody bag from me. ^^ I can't promise much, as I haven't been paying much attention to my trade fodder lately, and it'll probably be just one or two uncommon or common pets. So, not much, but that's not really the point. The point is that we'll end up with lots of awesome drawings of Runes wearing hats!

If someone wants to have a Runes in Hats contest, or do a Runes in Hats art trade (I'm open for a few Runes in Hats art trades myself so long as you don't mind quick sketches) or whatever, by all means go ahead. I just figured it'd be more fun to work without the pressure of competition or deadlines, and just draw! Have fun - be crazy! It's a Rune Hat Party!
The deadline for all the artwork will be July 31st. Since the new site is opening in August, I figured we'd all be way too excited to focus on Runes in Hats with that happening, so try to finish everything by July 31st. ^^ After July 31st, I'll start getting those goodies out to all the participants.

Ah-hum... so Tiddly Winks has just arrived at your door with a letter for your Runes and Elkrin, inviting them all to a party with fun games and cake and ice cream and lots of streamers. The invitation stipulates that you must wear a hat to this fancy party. Some of the Runes are very excited at the prospect of getting to dress up. Others are maybe less then enthused, but hey, there's free cake, so just slap on a hat and come on down. Either way, post up some art of your Runes or Elkrin getting ready for the party! Or maybe they are one of the early arrivals, and are already at the party, dancing away and stuffing themselves with cake and ice cream! Or perhaps they are off on another adventure which requires a hat, in which case we want to see that too!

So anyone interested in drawing some Runes in hats? ^^

I love hats...... ^^ And I think Sahariel looks awesome in hats (let us thank Nilaihah for helping me discover that, lol). Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'll be able to do anything for it right now, because I've to finish two of my cosplay costumes before the 24th (and my fabric store has screwed everything up for me, because they wouldn't order the fabric I really need for a coat that I'll make, which means that I'll have to order it from Germany (and before I can do that, my money has to get to my paypal account, which will take two business days) and it probably won't arrive here until the very last minute)... And after that I'll head south the 25th in order to attend to the largest Nordic convention (known as Närcon) and I won't be back until the evening during the 28th - and I'm guessing that I'll be rather dead for a couple of days after the convention... /:

But I can try to come up with something for it, at least I might be able to do a sketch. :3

Morrighan and Indrani are Ravenclaw
Leomaris says he's gryffindor, so I'll go by his word.
Althaea is hufflepuff and so is Lurimyura.
Melkeravira is slytherin all the way.
Aaaand Valdus is torn between Gryffindor and Slytherin, but he is going with the Gryff.

Volare and Avital would be in Griffyndor

Adalia would be in Ravenclaw

Chitwan would be in Slytherin

I also think Eirian would be in Ravenclaw but she could do well in Slytherin too

There's no pressure to draw anything if you don't have time, it's just for fun! ^^ (That sketch I did literally took about 40 minutes, possibly less) But I'm excited to see people are interested in it! I can't wait to see the hats your Runes and Elkrin will wear!

Also congrats Tyasi! You had an awesome form! (I didn't actually have time to read the whole thing, but it looked amazing XP) Leo and Mariana will have to hang out some time and go fishing.

Oh, the runes in hats are now a reality! Gonna have to draw it before I leave for summer camp in a week or so, since I won't be back until august xD

And even though I already showed which house my runes would be sorted in, they do have their reasons xD (has nothing better to do)

Wibble couldn't be in any other house! He also wouldn't want to be put in any other house. He wouldn't allow it. XP
I actually considered putting the Doctor in Slytherin, but in the end he would choose Gryffindor. Wouldn't want Slytherin, I think. XD
Alouette's personality makes her a Hufflepuff. Never Slytherin or Gryffindor, could have been Ravenclaw, but she's so nice and reserved...Hufflepuff.
Iklyn would have to be Gryffindor. She would like that. She has a strength that isn't shown much, but it's there. Her spirit also makes her Gryffindor.
And Elise is wise for her age. Loves learning new things. Definitely Ravenclaw.

Canvas: I imagine she would be an eccentric Ravenclaw, although she might be able to pass for a Hufflepuff.
Razbunare: Gryffindor, without a doubt.
Eris: My little Slytherin, just like me.
Velours Rouge: She's a little bit young to know for sure, but she strikes me as a Ravenclaw type.
