Have fun experimenting! I just learned how to record my screen, and I've always wanted to do a time lapse digital painting. If I do one of a Rune I'll be sure to post it up.

Anyway, it's been a technology week. I downloaded Pencil awhile ago, but I had some trouble figuring it out. Decided to try work with it again, and I'm just starting to get a hang of it. It's such a finicky program - it took me like an hour to figure out how to export it XP (Although that might be more because of my complete lack of computer skills). Anyway, I did a very short, extremly rough, animation of the Dream Spark Rune.

I doubt I'll have time to fix it up and color it, but I decided to post it anyway. I think it turned out good, and so long as Pencil doesn't completly crash and die on me, I might be able to make some pretty, cleaned up animations now. ^^

Don't feel intimidated! Your art is awesome, and I'm sure your form is too. *is too nervous to actually look at any of the forms right now XP*

It really didn't take long. I did the rough sketch and that took maybe an hour. Actually lining it only took about another hour and a half. Getting the scanner and Pencil working and adjusting all the frames and loading them into Pencil and then figuring out how to export it took about... eight hours (kidding!) It probably only took about 4 and a half or five hours total.

And it's only twenty frames, at about 9 frames per second. So not a lot at all, and it could do with a lot more inbetweens.

That is quite the fancy animation! I love what you got going on there so far. 9 frames per second is a lot. Great job and I'd love to see that painted animation whenever you get the chance! :D
