Hey guys, so I am not sure what RUs I still owe, Please please please PM me on dA or the chat, not CS. Half my messages have not appeared, and messages I've sent out haven't been received. It might be the terrible internet on my part, but either way I get all my messages on dA or the chat for sure. Also I don't get on CS much anymore as there's really not much point.

I've never really posted here, huh.
Anyway, I'm leaving Viscets. As cute as they are, I've kinda lost connection with feral characters overtime and the viscet I do have is in need of a new home, so I'm selling her for 400 DA points.

Wow... so much has happened in the community in the time that I have been inactive due to personal issues... I'm sad to say that I will be leaving the Viscet community as I do not have DA. I do have one question though

I have a tier one MYO still in my inventory, and have the character concept still. If there is any artist willing to bring my boy to life, I would greatly appreciate it, even if it is on DA and then sending me the link. If anyone can help me please let me know

Well, I have been on a really long hiatus from Chicken Smoothie... and still not sure when I will return. I'm just popping in to check on some things c:

It really surprised me to come back to see that Viscets will be moving on DA. Although I have been quite inactive in the community for... quite a while, I am still very much invested in this adoptable! So, I have created a DA account just to stay in the community. My DA account is SolarizedShimmer.

I am also planning to do a huge revamp of my Viscets, its world, and its lore... so relationships that are currently in place may be changing. It's almost like starting anew with all the concepts I had for them. So, stay tuned for the changes! If you're still interested in keeping relations with my Viscets, feel free to inform me! I am trying my best to keep the cureent relationships my Viscets have, but I will place more priority on fitting in relationships that are specifically requested to be kept c:

I'm aware Viscets have moved to DA, but I'm wondering if I could still ask questions on CS?

I was previously part of the viscet community, adopted quite a few of the lovely creatures and have many wonderful memories from the group.
However, after being away from CS for a while and my interests changing, I'm no longer interested in being a part of it.
Yet I have a few designs I still love and have helped me through a lot during the times I adopted them. Would I be allowed to transfer their designs to another species, or redesign them as another species? I'd, of course, keep the credit to the original designer. If that's not allowed, would I be able to loosely base, say, a human design off of them? It would mean the world to me if I could, as each design is a big part of how I got into owning characters and writing stories in the first place.

On a similar note, am I allowed to readopt out the viscets I'm no longer interested in keeping on CS, or would I have to move it to DA?

To answer your questions:

Viscets as a closed species cannot be transferred to any other species. The only exception would be for costums - but in this case, the custom would be voided (aka removed from Viscets entirely).
With human characters it's a somewhat different aspect - I'm here directly quoting MintChip:
"You could make a humanized version of the viscet but not a whole new/different character based off of the design."
to explain: You are still not 100% allowed to transfer the Viscet to a humanoid character because in that case you might later profit from it by selling it, which is not allowed.

And you totally can keep to ChickenSmoothie with adopting out your Viscets; however, there is the possibility that not many people will see your re-adoptions, if you do not at least advertise them on the Viscet discord or on deviantART ^-^
