An announcement on a new feature in the nursery!

Some of you have noticed already, but we've added a new type of dwarfism; Teacup Dwarfism.

What's this? It's a type of dwarfism that's a little rarer, but not extremely rare compared to the standard gene. It stunts a Sima's visual growth to up to 4 weeks old, leaving them with certain features that only young looking kits have (Floppy ears, partial or total blindness that's optional for the owner, and a partially developed jewel guard).

Unlike dwarfs, teacups have a time-sensitive window where you can remove the gene if you do not want the kit to have it. At 6 weeks, you can remove the gene, but they can only grow to the size of a normal dwarf. After 9 weeks, you cannot remove the teacup gene. Keep in mind that aside from stature, they otherwise develop like any other Sima.

Certain edits from the parents cannot pass to teacups, while some may cause interesting effects on the kit in question. Note that teacups cannot be requested specifically in breedings due to there being no guaranteed chance unless you have the Crystallized Tree Sap item. They also cannot be created in MYOs.

The chances of teacups can be raised slightly by using items that add dwarfism in your breeding ticket- however, it still doesn't guarantee teacup dwarfism if you don't roll for it. It will only guarantee a dwarf.

Hello everyone!
I have finally decided to leave most of the closed species I have joined as it is just too much for me to handle. However, I do adore this little community which has been by far the friendliest community I’ve been apart of, which is why instead I’ll be taking a mini hiatus and hopefully rehoming my items and the Simas I hadn’t formed a connection to!
