Story:
Kagari escaped into the street, his ears flicking back and forth. Excitement bubbled through him as he trotted to the first house. It was finally halloween, and he had waited all day to go trick or treating. His costume was none other than a gryphon, homemade of course. It had a stick on beak, with tie on wings and sticky feathers. The young plumerian watched a few kids his age come laughing down the street, shouting about some type of candy. Kagari frowned, but shrugged. Even though being in a group would be fun, he was also totally fine with being by himself.
This road seemed to be quite busy, with many kids and parents scrambling from house to house. Kagari slid past somebody younger than him, and wandered up to the first house. The porch light shone brightly, and he couldn't help but feel a buzz of excitement. The first house he is going to hit! That meant loads of candy. For a moment, he wondered where his older siblings were, but shook it off. The young plume inched waited for the other kids in front of him to finish, and slowly took a few steps towards the entrance to the house. A spooky skeleton lay limp on a chair, and he smiled. He knocked on the door twice, and took a small step back. This was it! It creak open, and he smiled widely. "Trick or Treat!"

Story:
Varen pulled on his beanie, adding a few final touches of face paint to his cheeks.
This year he was going to continue his theme of going as the Doctor each year, which started when he was a baby and his parents thought it would be a cute idea, however Venice had convinced him to go as the electric-type pokemon minun. Varen adored pokemon as much as her, and now they even had coordinating costumes! His mother had squealed when Varen told her. Now it was time to go. Varen was going to meet up with Venice before any trick-or-treating, but one house wouldn't hurt... right? He bolted to the house across the street as quick as possible, before remembering he forgot his bucket. He grabbed his pokeball themed candy bucket and ran back. He caught his breath, and nervously knocked on the door.

Story: grinning madly, dory gazed upon the coat through red and blue lenses. she'd been preparing for this day for months! sadly, though she had anticipated to celebrate this evening with her husband, he had to work that night. though she had been dampened before, laying sights on her costume sent shivers down her spine. sewn by the yours truly, she was incredibly proud of the coat, made to look the same as the one worn by her favorite doctor (the tenth, undoubtedly), of her favorite show, doctor who! it fit perfectly as she slipped it on, still grinning. grabbing the garbage bag she was using to hold her sweet treasure, she flipped the lights off on her way out. though normally, she'd be a little old to be going trick-or-treating, it was considered a popular celebration in the plumerian community, and she could still squeeze a few more years out of it.

looking excitedly around in the darkening area, she saw rows of houses waiting to be visited. though still early, there were already several forming groups and pairs of other plumies, and most, if not all, were wearing smiles. if not alone, they were chattering excitedly. taking a deep breath of the chilly october air, she set towards the closest house with the lights on. knocking on the door with an energetic rat-ta-tap-tap, she awaited an answer.
