Is the new colour list going to be very hard and strict, or used more as a reasonable guide? For example, liver chestnut being listed as a base but not included in roan examples (strawberry roan I would assume just includes a lighter chestnut)? Could someone request a liver roan as a custom for example (as it would be a listed dilute on a listed base), or would that be disallowed due to not being specifically outlined as an example?

Excited about the event equid breeding rules, I think those'll be fun!

I think the new event rules are super fun I just have a little question. I currently have my first equid breeding ready to go when slots are opened, one is a valentines wme! Does the new rules mean slots willl likely open during the 'event' months now? Because say slots don't open this month, it'll be a year before anyone can breed valentines traits. Or if breeding slots didn't open in October, then people looking to breed Skeles would miss that year so to speak. Unless there were plans to open breeding slots for just event wmes during the 'event month', like 'the next 7 days we are opening breeding slots for current event equids' or something but I dont think that's happening.

Anyways, i really like the opening of event breeding and the year slot increase, thanks!

I have a quick question about breeding half-skeleton quids. Are half-skeletons able to breed with other half skeletons /or to full skeletons during their event month? What would be the results for the markings of such pairings?

Quick question with the new Dilution Category

I am interested to have my WME Challenge Custom with Reverse Dapple Roan
Would that be allowed as a special interaction of silver and roan or is this type of spezial Dilution forbidden?

You would need to have either silver, sooty or grey to get dapples.

Dilutes can be stacked so that you have multiples.

Quick question on breeding event equids. When you submit a breeding within the respective month that full event foals is allowed to pass, do you specifically need to request the foal be an event equid or will it automatically pass due to it being requested in right month?

As longest the request was submitted within the time frame the rules will apply, regardless of when the foal is made.

Under the colors and markings, it has "Sooty - Single and Double"

I've never heard of a double sooty; if this just in reference to extra dark and extra dapples, or something new entirely? It makes me excited as i really enjoy the sooty gene!

It is a vague nod to genetics, so it means that an equid could have two copies.
We are not quite at the point of genetics but I just wanted to lay some groundwork.

The names are just an example as people have said previously they don't understand horse genetics, so it just gave people an idea of what creates what, mainly for breeding more then anything.

You could have a liver chestnut roan, I just can't list every version of all the combinations!

If we can get through the outstanding breedings then we will try and open again this month.

The restrictions don't mean that you can't breed any event equid any other time, it just means if you want special traits, like pink from a valentines equid, then it needs to be bred in that month. Otherwise it will just create a regular equid, not an event.

Half skeletons, even if bred together do not have half babies, they will just have regular babies, regardless of when it was bred. It would be a regular equid with regular markings that still draws traits from both parents but instead of a skull it may have a bald face, or instead of ribs it just has regular quipping.
