Is anyone participating in NanoWriMo? If so, what are some of the main characters you're using?
i am indeed planning to do nanowrimo ouo
i've done a lot of thinking about the story i was going to write, mainly between two specific plots, but i've decided to use Jack and Claire as my main characters for the novel uvu you guys haven't met jack and claire, mostly because they're humans and i can't draw them properly. if i ever find someone to do references for me / find the ability to do it myself, i'll definitely show them ! :> they're one of my favorite story lines, hehe <3

Who is your favorite character (that you own) to order art of?

i really don't order art of my characters, i prefer to draw them. it's more fun to order art of my friend's characters oAo

ye ye ye, booth is monochromatic except for his eyes. he's the only one though.


Do you like or dislike when characters are based off of songs, games, movies, etc.?
while some people might say it's 'unoriginal' or 'not yours' as much as it would be, i believe that these characters are fantastic and fun to play around with. i mean, if you base a character off of something that's been used one million times before, for example castiel from supernatural(no offense guys), then it gets a little repetitive and unnecessary. but other ones, take for example my booth, can be very cleverly based off of a show or movie and still are very original.
not to mention if you're writing a fanfic, you sort of need a character based on the show/movie/book you're writing about. let's say kleitos [no ref], a character of mine based on percy jackson. i use him for fanfictions, but it wouldn't make sense if he was this completely unrelated character stuck into a story he doesn't belong in. in those cases basing a character off of something that already exists is okay.
in the cases of most people on caaa, you own characters because you enjoy them. in a way they're a part of you, especially if you designed them yourself. why not base them off of something you really like and enjoy? it's perfectly sensible. people base color schemes for their homes off of things they enjoy sometimes. some writers base their characters off of things they like. it's near impossible to be completely unique without influences from something.
so yeah, i guess you could say i like these types of characters, and that i even support them :>

I'm very tempted to. See, I've wanted to for awhile now, but the past few years I just never had the time. This year, I do have a plot I could develop and such. But I'm a little nervous..I'm not sure if I should or not..Lol..

If I did, I would either be using a revamped version of my retired persona, Aly. Or my two newer characters, Lawrence and Cooper. Maybe I will, I'm not sure.

Okay, so, since I currently have no use for the sixty+ tokens I have I'd really like to get rid of them in exchange for a few characters.
I'd really like some help with a few custom ideas I have in mind, and if gladly pay tokens and other C$ pets for them. I do also have quite a bit of C$, and could probably get more if desired. (I currently have 170 to spend.)
