Honestly? Everything. I love the fandom, the customs, even the robotics and such! It's all so cool and fascinating.

Do you own any furbies?
Sadly, I don't. I really want to find a broken one though and start customizing it though!

Hello again! I'm getting a 1998 furby but I'm not sure how much fur I need for it (nor do I know if I should get faux or luxury shag). I will update this with more details once it arrives. Opinions on fur would be amazing! ❤

Yo if you want something quality, never use something like fun fur, it’s awful. Luxury shag is nice, I personally use it for fursuits, and I hear other furs like mink are very nice, but super expensive.

1: Would it be best to buy furs from stores near me to ensure that they are the right kind? Or would it be best if I bought it online?
2: What might the difference be between faux fur and other furs?
3: Are there any good, reasonably prices online stores that sell fur?

I can answer a bit of that too, though other opinions would be nice!
1- Honestly, I have yet to see really good quality fur at stores, but I’ve heard some people make long Furbies out of materials from Joann Fabrics. I get all my stuff online.
2- Mostly just softness, shedding, length, texture, etc. Mostly, the crappy quality stuff just feels very greasy or rough.
3- Honestly, for good quality stuff, I pay upwards of $20 for a yard. You’ll have to be willing to pay for good stuff.
