Sorry for minimal replies, I'm not on much. I'm just here to repost Danika's adoption, I need to get more finished entries and I will happily extend it.

first of all, i want to thank everyone for being patient with me-- i'm not as talkative in the community due to insecurity, but i really do love everyone here and you're all so very lovely. i'm going to try and get most of my owed stuff finished this week ( as now with the end of summer, my shifts at work will drop considerably ), and if not this week, then next.
i haven't forgotten about the stuff i owe, and i kick myself in the butt each day that i don't get it done..

it occurred to me that i haven't introduced a few new Viscets, and i'm rather excited to share more of their stories with you all today

firstly, i have Jarvis Halifax -- who i thought i'd introduced before, but apparently i hadn't! Halifax is my sweet butler boi. he's filled with sass though knows how to be professional when need be. he has an incredible sweet tooth as well, and can very often be found sneaking treats in the kitchens. Casino can't be angry with him though... he's just so stinkin' cute that nobody can really stay mad at him!

next we have Povas of Beproti Rodyti, the traveling circus!
( Povas means peacock in Lithuanian )

their particular troupe has been blessed with incredible powers by the grace of true Ugin.

Povas was aptly named - he's flashy, dramatic, and showy in nearly any situation he finds himself in. Lithuanian is his first language, he's fluent in German, and though he can speak English it is incredibly broken. if anything it gives him an adorable air about him, as he slips up a lot when he gets excited about things! though an older male, he's still as spry and agile as he was when he was an adolescent-- he thanks Ugin for this seemingly eternal youth, and he certainly doesn't take it for granted! Povas loves to laugh and have fun - often the troupe has to watch their backs as he's very often hiding in wait to jump out at someone or he's bouncing about in hyper excitement.

though fun and exciting, Povas does have a bit of an anger management issue-- his fuse is incredibly short, and he can snap at the drop of a hat if provoked. all it takes is someone saying the wrong thing and he can fly off the handle, shouting and making a mess of his surroundings. Šarka is the only one who can calm him down from these rage fits, and the calming effects are immediate. the moment she touches him or gathers him up in her embrace he melts into her and begins with some deep breathing to calm himself. there's a... bit of a disconnect in his brain. some wires just aren't firing with the same enthusiasm as others - he's unpredictable and not entirely all there. spaced out and very particular in his ways. as a general rule, however, he is a very friendly fella, so long as you watch what you say about what's most important to him.

next, we have Bruce!

heir to an enterprise with lots of wealth and good looks to spare, Bruce may seem like he has everything he's ever needed. he has three beautiful children, grandchildren (much to his chagrin, as he hates getting old and his body doesn't work like it used to anymore), but his life is just... boring. he lives alone, save for his caretaker, and he's taken to vigilante work at night - while he still works as a cop during the day. it keeps his life exciting! plus he gets to kick some butt, so he's excited about that as well.
the only thing he isn't excited about his kicking his own son's butt... J and his mate have some explaining to do...

another member of Beproti Rodyti, known simply as The Narrator

he's.... something else entirely. he's been around since before even he can remember, granted a form of immortality by Ugin in order to stay her most devout and trusted vessel, Ugin has used the Narrator as a channel to speak through him when needed.
he's so old, he's forgotten his own name, though many (like Povas for instance) have taken on his role as Narrator with grace and adoration. the Narrator carries with him a book as tall as he, an ink and quill, and when he's not telling stories to his troupe or babbling on in Enochian he can be found writing their past, present and future in his book. the pages appear empty to everybody but himself. due to his use of being a channel, it has come with a price-- not only has he forgotten his name ( or if he ever had one ), but he has forgotten his family, and on occasion can forget the faces he sees every day for but a moment. he babbles to himself,
pacing and wandering and getting himself lost from time to time, his head cluttered with Ugin's voice and that of the angels above.
he's unpredictable, but nothing but humble and kind to all he meets

here we have Melody!

i haven't developed her too much quite yet, but i know what she is and i'm excited to build on her story! Melody came to Blackjack in search of a job and though Zain was more than willing to kick her out on the streets and not look back, there was something about the girl that drew him in-- it was a new feeling, not one he'd felt before. a paternal instinct, no matter how mant children he actually had already. he invited the girl in, taking her under his wing as Blackjack's newest DJ - she played while he dealt his demonic deals at the cards table, and he travels with her to DJ at events and festivals as well. he's proud of her, and he's never felt pride for another before. Melody sees Zain as a father figure as well, easily embracing and accepting his help and guidance. though she is very swiftly being pulled toward the path of damnation and rule under Tyramet, Melody couldn't be happier doing what she loves with someone she feels comfortable with

oh god oh god okay, Chinook!!!!

okay, so the moment i made this lil doot, i was so excited. heck yes, i get to represent my beautiful country (province a little more specifically, but who's counting), and though i got a lot of love for this PPS, nobody seemed quite interested enough. i was saddened, and wished beyond all hope that i could just keep this lil one if nobody else wanted her. well, it was fate that james.' number should come up as the winner for the raffle, and i was beyond excited when he messaged me asked me if i had any gift spots open so he could gift her to me!

welcome Chinook, to my little family!!!

though she is PPS, she gets by on her own just fine-- viewing it as a hiccup, this dwarfism does little to keep her down. she's a forest conservationist, protecting and managing the protection of forests and it's wildlife. who knows! the more i develop her, she may even be a Mountie! she's a very energetic girl, and very friendly -- yes, i'm going very stereotypical Canadian with this one!

ooh, my handsome biblical boi, Adam

the product of two very devout parents - the Narrator and his companion Ruth. both have dealings with Ugin and the angels,
and both raised Adam to be devout as well but there was another voice that spoke to him as he grew... though he was never given a name, Tyramet has been speaking with Adam on occasion promising him a plentiful life if only he do what is expected of him.
Adam left Beproti Rodyti when he was old enough, starting his own community by the name of The Parish. the Parish is beautiful,
but there is something incredibly off about this new family... they're all blind followers. they blindly worship the falsified God that Adam preaches about each morning, and nobody truly understands that these sermons and this life style will inevitable lead them to damnation. they are worshiping Tyramet under a false name. and at the end of the day, Adam sacrifices only those who are worthy, the sacrifice not knowing where their soul is really about to be sent. he's happy to have found the Mother of the Parish in Eden, and Father Adam intends to keep all his little followers in close check least someone come sniffing around to find something dreadful instead of kind

i was so excited about this handsome man, and james. did such an AMAZING job on him! he's an agent of HYDRA, though i bet y'all couldn't guess that L OL he's... very unkind. he's sassy, sarcastic, and very aggressive and can be rather violent as well at times

Oirbsen my sea king!!

he lives as a false deity. he's kinda cray tbh, he's just... like, not all there at all. his entire clan was destroyed, so when he washed up on shore after having gone mad while lost at sea, this new clan took him in having mistaken him for the ferrier/keeper Oirbsen of the Sea - a God that ships souls to the Otherworld. he's very cocky and has a superiority complex, but he's kind to children at least???

last but not least, i have AX-3L

she's a sweet gal, but very confused about... well, life LOL she was raised to believe she was AI, despite the fact she's very obviously biological. she can be given 5000 different excuses as to why she has a biological body, but at the end of the day all her creators have to do is threaten her with reprogramming (which is not a pleasant experience), and she zips her lip. she's curious about the world around her, and has a thirst for knowledge - robotics are her specialty though, so don't get her started

This is Alasdair. He's blind and basically mute. The only one he talks to is his Guardian, Ugin. He is a fierce General in Ugin's army who makes up for his blindness with his incredible heightened senses. Most others don't even realise he's blind until they're told.

Haha, yesterday I realized I tried out for my very first viscet on august 8th 2016, omg crinnnggegegege although I don't think I really got into viscets until late September, but still cx
Lol it took me until December to finally get a viscet, so wow it took forever xDD But wow, I still basically use the same formula, a cool foreign name XP

Just wanting to post a reminder here that you cannot trade or sell your viscets for pets or really any currency
unless it was purchased by that currency (and then only for the amount it was bought for).

✦Viscets are not trading cards nor currency. They may not be traded or sold.
✦You may only sell Viscets that you yourself bought for currency (DA pts, C$, $, etc), and only for equal or less than you bought it for. Those you won through other methods (form-writing, art, raffle, etc) may not be sold for currency, including nursery batches.

Understand that breaking this rule is a grave offense and may lead to several things. First a warning to the individual offering to trade for a viscet. It is crazy that a year and two days has gone by since I won my first viscet, Lemonade. (However, I am not surprised that I forgot the date and am two days late on this. I have an extremely bad memory.)
It is also crazy that it has almost been a year since the major car accident I was in, still having back pain from it but CS & viscets have still been happy places.
It feels like I have been in this community forever, yet also feels like it has only been a couple of months. There have been good memories in this community, and I hope they will continue.

Viscets have been the reason for both my writing to get better and my art to improve. They have helped me socialize more and some of the community members have helped & encouraged me. My social anxiety has gotten a lot better in the time I have been with viscets, and I hope it'll continue to get better.

I would have to say the general story of Hali, Kephas, and Laney has been really fun so far. I can't wait to add Keto into the stories!

do any of your viscets have companions that are not other viscets?
Nope! Not yet anyway. I am considering giving Kai some type of ferret or weasel though. Hali will probably be getting a fish, which will make for a nice story! >:)

do any of your viscets have strange, irrational, or extreme fears?
I would say no, but if Gray hears a book is sad she gets very on edge, hoping her favorite character(s) does/do not die.

how do you best develop your viscets/how do you prefer to develop your viscets?
Relationships, definitely. I didn't develop Periwinkle until Sylvain but now I have an idea for him to develop him with Sylvain. Keita I didn't develop a whole lot until I actually wrote out her personality for a possible mate, which happened to go through! Atalanta wasn't developed at all until Zakiyah, so now I have a set personality for Atalanta too. Kephas' development was put on hold until Hali & Laney came along, but at least he had information written out already. Keto is in the process of finally getting information. Trinity & Laurel have been together getting developed. Ahhh I am so bad I know. ;-;
