So... I've decided to try out for #1712, Dissolve's final adopt ;; and first I was like eh, I don't stand much of a chance so I shouldn't really try... But I couldn't pass this up, I really like the character I've made for them x'3 And I'd like to ask here to see if I could get some art of them!

I really don't have a lot to offer though... a handful of rares, a few old rares and some event list pets as well as about 300,000 treasure and 160 gems in FR... But pm me if you're interested!

hello viscet community! i'm dropping in to say Sweet and Salty gifted me this viscet, and i'd like to get some relationships for him!
only headcannons at the moment, but i might be interesting in rping in the future!

Lloyd Osborne - He/Him, Male - 23 - Heteroflexible - 19th Century England - Writer/Reporter
lloyd is an anxious but sweet viscet. he has a tendency to worry too much and fear for the worst, but forces himself to combat these feelings by diving headfirst into action and adventure, making him quite spontaneous at times. he is very imaginative and adventurous, having an insatiable fascination with the world around him and always looking for the next story to write. though shy at first and generally nervous around those he doesn't know, he can warm up pretty quickly, and will gladly go on and on about the fantastic worlds of fiction he creates in his head or the adventures he's been on if given the chance. he's an introvert, meaning he prefers solitude over big groups of viscets and unwinds best when he's alone. it also means he isn't one to have a whole bunch of friends, but rather a few very good friends and more friendly acquaintances.

he's open for friends, acquaintances, willing and unwilling subjects of his reporter's eye, and potential romances!

ok so uh oh boy

in keldeo's stream some hilarious stuff went down and long story short my dumb jm username (A Surprising Amount of Pepper) ended up inspiring this neat little idea where there's just a friendly neighborhood gang thats all about cooking. Every member's street name is a spice or seasoning of some kind, and their entire goal is to just cook the best food honestly. gourmet chefs. theyll collectively win iron chef.

this is super silly but i think it's a really fun concept so anybody who wants to join can! just pm me with a viscet and the name of a spice/seasoning that will be their street name, and I'll reserve the name here. :>

Yo I'm just posting for a few things but. I don't know if any of you are interested but if you are, I have about 20 invite codes for toyhou.se if anyone's interested in one. (If you don't know, it's a really useful character repository—you can find an example of one of the character pages here.) It's very useful for keeping up with art/design credit! If any of you are interested just shoot me a PM ^^
About toyhouse there is also a viscet 'world' here where, if you keep your viscets on toyhouse, you can submit them here. You can also join the world and whatever.. y'know. If you have an account and want to put your viscets there you can go to submit character to do that.

Also I'm looking for relationships, both romantic and not, for my viscets (you can see them all here). I would also love to do some role plays, whether they are romantic or not ^^ (note I, of course, don't want any romantic relationships for viscets that are already in romantic relationships, or if they say aro on their page).

Ok, so first of all, I noticed a question about viscet tailmouths offsite, and I was going to answer via there, but it seemed pointless to answer there when I could answer everyone here (since there's bound to be other people curious about it) and to also remind you guys that if you have questions about the species, it's probably best to ask here or a 'cet staff member directly so that false information is less likely to be spread around. Anybody could pretend to be viscet staff and answer questions off-site. That aside, you're more likely to get a response through an official thread/source.
I'm always open to questions, as are most of our mods/staff members ^^; never fear to PM one of us a question.
That aside, to answer the question.
Basically they wanted to know how they "work" anatomy-wise. If they can talk/have two minds/eat and digest food. SO I'll answer these best I can.
First of all, the general cannon is that the tail does not/cannot eat food. Think of it in terms of a... symbiotic or parasitic relationship. The tail does not have a separate intestinal tract, and lives off of the nutrients that the main "body" consumes. Even in the cannon, it is quite possible that the tail has a mind of it's own, but without vocal chords and lungs they probably cannot breath or talk.
Now, those are answers for the basic cannon "universe", however we allow viscets to have magical abilities (which isn't in the cannon) because we like you guys to have freedom with your characters (such as humanizing/anthropomorphizing/making them speak human languages/etc) that being said, in other people's AU's it is not uncommon for tailmouths to have very varying personalities from their main bodies, and to speak. Meaning in these AU's either they have vocal chords or some form of magic allows for them to speak.
I hope I was able to answer some of the questions you guys have, and remember if you ever have any more feel free to ask. We don't mind answering everything we are able to ^^;

It's been a while since I've posted here, I've just been so busy irl ;o; I thought it was time to introduce some new babs I've won recently though!

Abuto "The Songbird" - male - herbalist and apprentice of alchemy


Taken in by the King (Shiki) at a young age, he fled his old life in search of something new and came across Chronos in a mysterious clearing, who taught him about herbal medicine and alchemy. Not soon after, Hunter forced welcomed him into his tribe as the medic and caregiver and babysitter. He enjoys sitting in a sunny spot and dozing off, making tea and talking with his closest friend, Hunter.

Rune - female - ???


Born shortly after Kozmotis was captured/welcomed into Hunter's tribe, Rune is a rowdy viscetling and always looking for trouble. She is snarky and acts bigger than she is, but is all talk and no bite (most of the time). She was pawned off onto Abuto, who is her mentor and babysitter most of the time which wasn't by choice. She has weak magic powers and was prophesied as the 'offspring of the heavens/stars' due to her rather unknown origin but resemblance to the god Chronos (owned by _alex_). She is very hyper and nosy and runs about getting in everyone's business, and won't apologize for any of it. She shadows Abuto most of the time but knows when he needs his space.

Hikaru - female - asexual - medium

Born into an ancient tribe who possessed a power of 'Sight', the tribe leader, Chronos, acted as her mentor in hopes of tapping into her nonexistent power that she was born without. However, when she was abandoned by her mentor one night, a fire sweeped the forest and turned the camp, and the rest of the tribe, to ash. In a moment of desperation and confusion, she discovered that she can dive into the realm of the dead, traveling the world as a ghost at the cost of temporarily abandoning her physical body. She wears a silky shawl with bells that don't chime and a small lantern around her left antler to help find her body upon return. While she is in the realm of the dead, her physical body can be seen glowing a faint pink hue, coursing through her body as a signal of her life force and connection to the world of the living. She was once a happy and carefree viscet, but due to events she is cold and untrusting.

These classes actually seem reletively easy (for now; I'm working on switching out a few of them to get harder credits out of the way) So, while this first "hiatus" is over, there may be several points where I may not be in here for days or even weeks.
