I don't remember what I've posted and what I've not posted anymore v.v;
But just so everyone knows, the Referral stub system was phased out. So from the start of this month onward, referrals will not earn you stubs.
On another note, thanks to the update that removed the cap on how many viscets you can own, it's a great deal of a lot easier to obtain stubs.
I don't know if you guys knew this or not, but I see a lot of people enter and then back out. I understand that, as I have so little time on my hands as well. But if you're backing out due to fear or feeling like you just do not compare to other forms (I've been there, we all have, so no worries! v.v) Don't back out! Give it your all! Even if you do not win, even if you do not win a RU, you have the ability to also win Stubs! (It's not something that's given out every contest, though, keep that in mind as well.)
Stubs are great, they are wonderful! They can help you purchase all kinds of things! Like if you don't have CS to use on potions for batches, you can use stubs! You can also save them up for MYO's!
A lot of people are unable to obtain MYO's through any other means aside from stubs, so have at it!
Even if you've won your one viscet for this month, as long as it is an official artist (Guest artists can not give out stubs, keep that in mind.) then you have a chance to win stubs! (again, not all contests will give out stubs.)
Just remember to put at the top of your form that you already won your viscet for the month and that you are just trying out for stubs! This lets the artist/judge know that, where as you can not win the viscet, if they loved your form then they can reward you with stubs!
Even if you haven't won a viscet, but you see one that really inspires you. But you don't want to own it, you just feel inspired?! Have at it! Just add that you are going for stubs, not for the viscet itself.
I'd like to point out another option, too.
✦Stubs can be traded and sold to other users; however you are not permitted to pm, harass, beg or otherwise try to pester someone into trading you their Stubs. If this happens you will receive a strike on the first offense, but a second offense may result in the revoking of some, or in some cases all of your current Stubs inventory.
✦You can trade Stubs for several things;
for chickendollars / c$
for cs pets/items
occasionally for viscets. (only currency adopts with ufa in blue)
the amount you trade your Stubs for is up to you, however the basic value is roughly 18c$. this varies from user to user on value, so keep that min mind.
✦ However you are not permitted to trade Stubs for the following;
dA points
USD
Individuals viscets who did not first offer it.
✦ If you gift or trades Stubs for anything you need to contact Razors with the amount you're trading & the user ID link to whom it's going to.
So, if you have stubs, but do not plan to use them or have no use for them, they are tradeable/sellable.
This could help out a couple people who are close to getting their last few stubs for MYO's or need them for potions.
ANOTHER note...I'm sorry, I didn't expect this to be so long.
My day off (Monday) I usually work on the stubs archives, so I keep it decently updated.
However, when it comes to trading in RU's for stubs, unless you posted on the actual viscet page, I most likely will not have those stubs added. So if you decide to go for Stubs instead of a RU, feel free to message me! I'll get those added for you!
You guys can message me any time you need. Keep in mind that I work a whole lot so It may take me a bit to get to you, but I check CS multiple times a day, so I'll get back to you eventually.
I'm just attempting to encourage you guys to keep at it. I hate to see amazing forms get removed cause of lack of self confidence. (Again...I know the feeling all too well v.v;) You guys are all so amazing. If you ever feel worried about a form you're working on, you can always post on the fan club! People do it all the time! There's tons of amazing peeps willing to help out! We can be your cheerleaders! It's what fan clubs are all about. We are here to build each other up!
Y'all are amazing peeps, don't forget that, and don't let your self doubt get the better of you. We win some, we lose some, but keep going.
