If I could get any help on this it would be appreciated:
http://i39.tinypic.com/s48bh3.pngI like the overall look of it, except for the paw behind the cub. Also if you see any other areas that need help, I'd love it if you can point them out to me, as this is a gift. Redlines are welcomed.
Re-posting to see if anyone can help. I really want to get this done, as it's a gift for my sister-in-law and my new nephew, but I need help on that one paw.
The one looking towards us has a BEAUTIFUL face, very well done.
But the one looking down at the cub looks a bit too lionish. Maybe up the fur on their face a bit?
I really don't see much issue with the paw behind the cub. The paw facing most forward seems a bit awkward, though. The forearm's too lengthy-- you should really stretch the shoulder forward if the paws' that forward, instead of just making the forearm super long.
Very nice job so far, though. Can't wait to see the results. x)

I've seen numerous people have their drawings (by drawings I mean sketches done on literal paper) be red to do linearting an other such things. I was wondering how exactly people do that. In case the helps, my scanner is an Espon Perfection V300 PHOTO, and I use the program that came with it for the scanning preferences (ESPON Scan, so says the tab). Any help? I was personally going to use it for critiques, and linearting if I can learn to work my tablet better soon.
Reposting this because I am apparently invisible. I've also been noticing that some people (like kecky415 on tumblr, for an example) may have some sort of coloured pencil to do this, but I was wondering if there are an alternatives that do not involve going over your entire drawing again, especially if you want to fix something on it later on, scince coloured pencils are mostly non-erasable (and the ones that claim they are suck horribly).
I have no idea what you're trying to say.
Use color effects?
usually we use colored lead. if you don't have colored lead you can create a new layer and set the layer effect to "color" and then fill the entire layer blue or red or whatever color you want.
the point of colored lead is that its ok if its not erasable. blue is the one most often used. That shade of blue is called "non-photo blue" because when you made black and white photocopies back in the day, the blue would not be picked up as a color. therefor you can make it as sketchy as you want and then hand draw the final line work in either pencil or ink. after you run it through the photocopier, the copy will look like you just did the final inks or pencil, because the machine can't pick up the blue color, thus non photo blue
I love drawing men and all things manly and gay.
I can't draw animals at all, I just like to look at them and wish I could
I rarely take commissions for anything other than real money, sorry kids

SO CUTE.
I shall die now from so much cuteness!
Oh and yes photography counts as art C;
Hello everyone! I am back for the summer since I have nothing to do over the span of my two month summer vacation!
I am searching for some semi-lit roleplays to take part in to keep me amused over the time. I won't be on every single waking moment although (like I used to) because I do have a little bit of a social life this summer (surprise, surprise!).

That's super good 0_o The only thing I'd say....is to make the muzzle length a bit longer, and the back a bit shorter. Arabs typically have short backs and long necks. Also, the back should maybe be a bit more curved, the hocks a bit more rounded...and hat's all I can think of o3o It's amazing work overall, in my opinion.

The light contrasting with the dark fur of the dog is nice but with the walls or bars or whatever are disruptive and take away from the main focus of the dog. Also the light glare is a little funky. But other than that I love the look you captured on your dog, his eyes and ears make a cute lazy feel to the image. Overall I like it.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I would agree with the wall/bar thing [actually a sliding glass door]. I can also agree with the light glare, I had no idea what was going on there. But this was my first day with my camera and my dog didn't feel like posing. Normally he's a diva though. xD
