it's been so long since I've posted here but !
happy holidays everyone!
i so hope chanukah has been going wonderful for anyone else here who celebrates it, and I so hope spending time with family has gone well too! my dad is in Nepal at the moment for a film festival he's receiving an award at so until he comes back tomorrow we've been doing it at midnight through face time on my mom's iPad and oh god that's an experience (my parents have been married for 27 years and she still has no idea how to say the prayers so it just turns into my dad being the only one actually saying it with lag spikes in between most every word, and me bursting into laughter at how badly my mom does this). it's nice though ahh, and one of my cats has been really enjoying being held then and making it impossible for me to put the candles in the menorah so that's also lovely.
oh! make sure not to put your menorah on a surface where hot wax can drip and burn, like a metal tray. it's usually pretty safe but one year our table cloth caught on fire (we caught it in time and nothing but the cloth was damaged), so remember to be careful and put them someplace your animals can't accidentally knock over or light themselves on fire!
for anyone who celebrates Christmas I so hope that's so far going well for you too! remember not to stress yourself too much with things, and to spend time with your family or people who mean the most to you <3 it's a time for family and love and generosity, but remember to take care of yourself too, you can't give anyone smiles and joy or help them if you're too drained and working yourself to the bone
but anyway, onto what I've been meaning to say for over a month now whoops
I am looking for a rare edit! either halo, or glow, or tail, or just a general rare edit. I've been trying to earn the HMs to reuse
this concept that I absolutely fell in love with for about a year now, and I've finally earned enough HMs to get it, if I can just get one more rare edit. it would have been fifty, but the summer event came around, and I managed to earn enough rare edits through that to cut it down to 35, and if I just get one more, I'll only need twenty, which I have.

i won her from one of steamplonk's readoptions that was hosted by the lovely takura right at the end of October and I love her so much! she's a sassy girl who takes nothing from no one and holds grudges for far too long. I'm still sort of figuring out her au and the rest of her personality and haven't quite had the time to do so, but she's a little trapeze artist, and maybe even a ribbon dancer, in a circus, or something similar.

he's the staff scarf Kalon that the wonderful tuurpentine made, and I'm still getting over the fact I won him ahhh
he's just a gentle sweetheart that loves the world and all it's creatures. juni's a farmhand who loves picking flowers and working with horses and doggos and he's just overall a gentle darling filled with utter sweetness. he still needs a lot of developing but I finally will have some time and inspiration to finally sit down and get to working on all my lovely kals and actually work on their forms
I would also love some friends and maybe even a boyfriend or girlfriend for him as well!
so because I take absolute ages to do things I now have at least three kits that need growing and are so overdue for it and ahhh whoops
