Featured Users



Featured Users is a way for users to get noticed when they have their lights on. We will occasionally go through the list of users and randomly pick out 10 who have their lights on and post those 10 in a Featured Users.

You will still need to check the lights status of the users! Don't send them messages unless their lights are on. Their lights may be on at the time I post the list, but they may change their status before you see it, so always check.

Additionally, please do not quote/repost this if you are commenting on it.

i'll likely have my lights on every time I go to work! in the meantime I'm on catch-up duty. c:
all of my treats are decided via a random wheel, so o7 if i have to trick anyone- I'm having fun already tho!!

I was today years old when I learned CS PMs have a folders system. I've only ever kept 200 messages at a time for my whole time on this website. Whoops. Unfortunate that I've deleted lots of past years' trick or treat messages to save space, but at least now I know!

Finally got my application in. I've been so behind everything lately so I'm really glad I had some time today to sit down and do that... still behind on some trades but I'll get to them hopefully '^^;

I had a question though-
Is it common LOLO etiquette to respond to trick messages? I never did last year but I was thinking about it and wasn't sure.

Also, how are you guys planning on doing tricks/treats this year? Halfway through last year I started doing a wheel to determine how big of a treat to give, or if I was going to do a trick. It made it really easy because I was getting fatigued from looking over so many people's profiles to try to decide how big of a treat to give, but then that always made me feel bad for those I didn't do that for and I never wanted to trick. But I think if its random it could be fun!

Curious as to when people are turning their lights on and off! I've personally been putting mine on just before I go to bed, leaving it on whilst I'm at work for the day, and then turning them back off once I'm home and ready to answer any messages

But has anyone found a different schedule that works better for them? Do you prefer turning them on when you're free, and then answering any messages as they filter in?

Last year I had mine on until I hit a certain number of messages (maybe ten?) then would turn them off until caught up. I felt super guilty trick or treating though if my own lights were off lol so I tried to only do that when they were on ^^; I don't think I'll stress that much over it this year though

What's so funny is I don't trick or treat unless my lights are on but I don't even look at light status with I am sending treats xD make that make sense lol.

Also! I don't respond to a trick unless it's a large story and I feel bad leaving it ^^;

I give out 99.9% treats myself but I have the luxury of a lot of trade pets. I don't begrudge anyone giving out tricks or if they want to do an rng system ^^ I'm sure that is a fun mechanic!

i generally just do 2-5 depending on the rarities! i only give wl pets/items as a treat (sometimes c$), and if they have say a bunch of commons and a few ucs i'll do 1-2 ucs-vuc with 2-3 commons or lower. i also try to read their trade rules to see what pets they prefer!

for tricks, i generally only do it if i see i only have rares and store pets on their wl. not that that's bad ofc! i just gotta look out for number one yk c': i send a nice message and silly gif to hopefully make them feel better about it. if it's a dreamie or a missing piece of a collection though i'll give it as a treat

also i wanted to show my lil treat giver! i don't have a name for them yet, if anyone would like to suggest one, but i love them sm. the pumpkin cats yugi made are just so cute sdhfjb
