How do the tail tips stay alive if there's no blood flow between them and the rest of the Hazard's body?

I hadn't thought about that hm... >w<
I'm going to say for now that blood still flows through the tail tip and things such as oxygen and nutrients can pass through the energy that connects the two tail pieces together. If the tail was disconnected for some reason for an extended period of time (say a cat with a light tail lost its tail tip), it is designed to temporarily go into a "sleep mode". It would vary from cat to cat, but they'd have about a day to a week to get their tail tip back before it powered down and was no longer salvageable
