hey stars friends!! it's august && we have some exciting news coming up! <33

first off, we’d like to thank feather ' and Marz-With-A-Z for joining us as GAs for july! both of their GA run went wonderfully, their designs were a delight && we loved having them around and watching them grow as artists! thank you so much again, feather & marz !!

we’re also v excited to welcome néktar and spideysense as our GAs for august!! their designs have such personality && character – we're looking forward to seeing more of their designs around this month! ^^

the co-owner team && staff have also been working on some updates / other things behind the scenes! and you can expect another announcement a little later on this month c; in the meantime, take a peak at our august quests && wahoo also has some new monthly tasks (which includes a double xp bonus opportunity) over in explore!

hi stars friends!! as promised, here's part two of some things the team has been working on, lately! you may have seen lil hints of these ones around here and there, but we’re v excited to announce them officially c: there'll also be another announcement in a few hours-ish, so keep an eye out for that too!

first off, we’d like to wish bigfrog4231 well as he steps down as an official artist for stars! we’ve loved seeing his designs around-–his fur and eye edits have always portrayed such personality && expressiveness! we’re going to miss seeing xem around && we wish xem all the best in his future endeavors <3

as well, the co-owner team has added a new role to help with communication! welcome jay. , elliott. , canadianhowl and CloudedDiamond as community helpers! helpers are staff members that you're welcome to contact with questions / concerns at anytime! if you're ever uncomfy about something or have a question you'd like to ask privately, feel free to pop into their dms ^^ helpers will also be helping us moderate our discord server to keep it a safe & friendly space! we're thrilled to have these four help us out and we believe they'll make a solid team together 💖

see a new channel on our discord floating around? 👀 our #who-to-contact channel is an info hub on who to best contact for certain questions / concerns! over the next few days, our helpers will be adding their bios in, so it'll be fully up & running !! for our cs users, we will also be updating our contact list on our main page with info as well!

lastly (for now at least c:), we have also updated our #rules and our channel pins / descriptions for our our discord server! if you're on the server, please make sure to familiarize yourself with them as by remaining in this server, you're agreeing to follow the updated rules ^^ as always, you're welcome to hop into #help-and-questions for clarification or contact an applicable co-owner / helper!

Hey everyone! After much discussion, we've decided to implement a new trading rule:

Stars cats, items, and stardust may no longer be traded for C$, CS pets, CS items (including tokens), etc. They may be traded for in-species cats/items and art only.

There are a few exceptions to this rule for cats/items purchased directly from Stars itself. You can find these detailed on the archive under "trade rules"

It is simply not fair to our staff team that their hard work - given to the community for free - be resold / traded for profit. Additionally, we hope that removing the monetary values placed on in-species items/cats will allow users to better focus on participation in Stars itself as a way to progress, and trade between each other without out-of-species effort required to participate. We do not currently plan to reopen the MYO shop or StarClan's shop for C$ purchases, but we're working on other plans ^^

As a reminder, failure to follow our trade rules may result in the suspension of your ability to trade within Stars or an official warning. Please feel free to ask if you're ever unsure if a cat/item is tradeable for a specific currency!

Additionally, Angelquartz is hosting a month-long event where ae will buy back some of your stardust-purchased items! Their requirements are rather specific, and you can find them here

I've been hearing an awful lot about some cats being.. different lately. Whispers about being inspired by "Sonic" or "Genshin Impact" have been all I've heard recently. I'm not sure I fully understand what it means, but if you could help track one of these cats down.. I'd be grateful.

Hey everyone!! It's been a long time in the works, but MYOs are now available for purchase again! 👀 Here's the basic rundown of all the changes:


• MYO tickets + edits can be purchased from StarClan's shop with stardust! Each user may purchase a max of one MYO ticket per calendar month, CS time
  
  • Higher rarity MYO tickets are now event + game mechanic exclusive! You can buy edit items in their place ^^
• Most other items in the shop have received price adjustments too!
• *All* quest board entries now receive stardust; there is no min. exp required!
• You may only post one new MYO for approval per calendar month, CS time
  
  • All items *must* be in the official archive document before you post

While the admin team has done our best to adjust prices for how accessible we think stardust will be, keep in mind that we may readjust prices as we implement new ways of earning stardust ^^ We hope that stardust as our primary currency will make Stars more accessible, and encourage more participation and development!
