Alright guys, it's come to my and several other staff members attention that we have some things going on that shouldn't be.
this is important, so I would like to persuade you read it.
We, as the staff, often like to speak about how highly we regard our community as a whole,
How kind and caring you all seem to be towards one another.
This is not to say that most of you aren't, or at least more than likely. But I do want to call attention to something that has disturbed me greatly. There have been cases, I'm sure many we don't even know away, but several in recent history of individuals harassing, guilting and bullying other members as well as staff. This must stop. There is no reason that anyone should be bullying another members, specifically via pm. I want to believe that most of you aren't doing this, that you aren't making others feel bad. That you aren't acting entitled to others viscets, artwork or stories. That you aren't bullying someone, specifically in private so that you won't be reprimanded.
Everyone in our community deserves the right to enjoy, to socialize and generally be happy. There is no reason for anyone, regardless of their feelings, to be harsh, crude or unkind to another member. Specifically if they've done nothing but expressed their opinion in a kind way. We want to be unified, not divided by petty things. What you say, regardless of whether it's in private or anonymous hurts someone - your words are not just empty air, they hurt and damage someone's heart, mind and soul even. You should be encouraging your fellow fanclub members, and your staff - not trying to tear them down to make you feel better.
be kind & honest • think before you speak • don't say anything to someone you wouldn't say in the public eye
Be the community we believe and know you to be - you're a great community, know that and be that always.
