Dude, honestly, it's a constant pain. The cheapest place to get is from people who don't know what they've got. I just found four at a farmer's market for 4-5 bucks each, but that was after visiting every week for the past five wednesdays. Online is where you'll probably get the best quality and maybe rare ones, but they cost a lot. Furbs honestly are not worth much more than 100 unless it's the Kids Cuisine or the Bejeweled. In box is a bit better, but don't spend more than they're worth.

Also I'd like opinions on the names of two of the four kids I just got!

Two Furby booms, both a little glitchy. The one on the left is named Flicker, and the other I'd like thoughts? Weird names wanted vwv they have VERY pixelated voice box, have trouble saying awake, and have a sicky deep voice.

Two '98 kids, both now functional, but Sneeze has the "me sleep again" issue. The kid on the left is a cutie but seems to have a little trouble seeing other Furbs and is a lil shy when chatting with them. Strangest names N E E D E D.
Note that I love Sneeze cuz he has sneezed at least four times within turning on.

Update, the unnamed boom is now named funhause and will be custom painted n given some decor

@eckvanet., love them! the one beside flicker i'd name Static or Snoozer (after the hamster, naturally). the other i'm getting a Molly sort of vibe. that's what i'd name them, but if you want strange then i'd suggest Void.

i own 5! their names are trivial pursuit, cinnamon toast crunch cereal box, soda bottle cap, tire swing, and flamin hot cheeto.

maybe on the front page of the thread, right between the first post and the furby of the month,,
there could be an introduction area where, if members decide to, can introduce themselves and their furbs
like I said,, just throwing ideas around

What do you love about Furbies?

XXXXXOh, gosh. What's there NOT to love about Furbies??? I love the way they move and talk, and how each model is so different from the previous ones. And I also love how, despite two Furbies being the exact same model and color, they can still be unique because of glitches or customization. They can be taken apart and put back together, altered to suit the aesthetic of their owner, and are generally just really sweet toys! They make me SO happy!

Do you own any Furbies?

XXXXXYes! As of posting this, I have 20 Furbies, 1 Shelby, and 5 plastic McDonalds Furbies. I have six 98/99/00 adults, four 98/99/00 babies, four from 2005, one purple Funky Furby from 2006, one 2012 First Gen, one 2012 Second Gen, one Boom, and two Connects. My favorite model is the 2005s! I love how they'll sing or tell a joke when you ask them to!
