I've made a YCH! Below is the base compared to what to expect as a final product. Pardon the quality, imgur likes to squish that...

NOTES: Purple panes and wood are CYOP! I will do whatever colors you want for the basic, purple panes of glass.
The pink panes are 100% customizable and will be custom drawn each time. It's up to you if you want specifics, or if you want to tell me about your fable, give me their vibes, and I come up with the rest!
While the pose is not editable, I CAN flip it to face the other way if you'd like.
Please keep in mind that your fable's design WILL be simplified as far as body markings go!

Completion time is anywhere from 1-3 weeks due to an awkward work schedule.
Final pieces are delivered as a large, high quality file. You will receive the full piece as a transparent PNG, as well as JUST the glass as a transparent PNG as well.

PRICING:
One slot is 50 USD (discussed on discord) or CS list pet equivalent value. No C$, horses, rats, bunnies, or UR Foods.
Slots are NOT FCFS - it will depend on inspiration and what I feel I can reasonably do!

@Smokyskies I was just thinking I wanted to offer myself as "Worldbuilding Helper". I have helped a few friends build up their Fables, I'd love to help! I was thinking I could offer weekly pm check ins. I'll ask how worldbuilding is going, craft questionnaires for your individual Fables.    If I recall correctly I've been following Fables and the adopts since it first started, but i've mostly just interacted with adopts and not the actual community itself until more recently

   Titan! The lone survivor of an extinction event he currently believes killed all other Fables in his land

    I enjoyed writing this one, the prompt was what the fable would have for a collection and ngl i might keep the idea and use it in the future for someone else
    collection: A seed shaped like a pearl from the fable by the sea, a seed the color of summer from the field where she played when she was little, an acorn from the old tree she used to tell all her secrets, a gray seed she found in an little old box buried in her yard, a couple of tiny white flower seeds she will plant when her friend returns, a big red cherry pit that was given to half as a joke half in sincerity as someone she had long been at odds with finally began to understand her, and many many more, carefully labeled, carefully organized. Some will sprout someday maybe, some will not, all will be remembered

1. When did you first join the Fables cult community?
I was hooked on Fables when the species wasn’t born yet and it was just the iconic art of Ramiel and bezel asking how to make it so they could color in their drawing “like lines”. This was Oct 11th 2024. I entered for adopt 2 since adopt 1 was fcfs and was taken instantly lol.

2. Introduce us to your very first fable!
This is Kerr. He is the leader of my herd. Herd Solasta. He is also the king of the Great Wood. He’s pretty sad tho since his wife (the queen) went missing and then his only son ran away from home. He could be better…

3. How many fables have you collected?
I have 5 fables. You can see them all here. Also vote in the poll there to say hi.

4. Do you prefer depicting your fables in humanized form, feral/traditional form, or a mix of both?
I prefer humanized form since it is easier to write. However, I really enjoy bezel’s anthro style of depicting fables. That’s pretty cool to me actually. I only write them as feral when I have to for a competition ^^; ye

5. Everyone on the fable team is SUPER TALENTED but who is your favorite artist/designer?
I will tell you why I like all of them. Bezel: I have never seen a design style like bezel adopts in all my years on CS. blown away. ilya: gorgeous execution of designs and phenomenal extras like piercings, tattoos, halos etc. feverrr: love the pinks and soft colors of adopts. snowflakette: amazing painting style and imaginative themes for adopts. molotov: a lot of love and detail is poured into each adopt, you can tell. Made my favorite fable designs. SaltyBirb: creative with design themes and immaculate color work. Melonbread: highly talented artist. The kelpie pond fable lives in my mind rent free. certified: adopts tend to be moody and/or spooky, I want one. Would love to own one someday.

6. You probably have more, but share only three of your favorite fables owned by other players:
Number 1 has to be Kleio. So scruffy yet princely. Reminds me of Howl’s bird form from Howl’s Moving Castle. Number 2 is Aether. Colors are so dreamy. The wings are perfect. Sparkly. All the things I love. Number 3 is this artist entry. I love the color palette and the mane. Plus the lil skull marking is so cute! What a cool fable.

7. Share an idea/scene/story concept you want to work on for your fable(s) but haven’t started yet:
I am currently writing the next time my fable, Cian, runs into his betrothed, Kleio. The first time was during the winter ball. The mood was light and hopeful. Cut to the second time they meet and it’s a whole different vibe. Cian has been on the run for months. He’s suffering from a curse. And he’s just got done running from an angry warlock. When Cian runs into Kleio neither recognize the other. Worse yet, Cian used forbidden magic and is trespassing on another herd’s territory. He feels threatened by Kleio’s presence and attacks him, thinking the other fable wants to capture him anyway. He doesn’t realize he’s just attacked a herd heir. Luckily Kleio can hold his own in battle and isn’t injured. Cian ends up in a prison cell. To be continued. I have only written 600ish words of this story. It’s going slow cuz I am distracted by other things T.T

8. Do you have a favorite fable couple or pairing? Share your fable OTP!
Favorite couple that I am a part of is Cian x Kleio. As Oats would put it: “Oh to be in love with your arranged betrothed” LOL. But seriously. Kleio is more reserved but at the same time has a commanding presence. He shows his affection through acts of service and I find that immensely adorable. Cian is more expressive verbally, but he still struggles with not running away from his problems/feelings. They are just so cute. And their twins are precious. I am excited for their story and the story of their kiddos.
Favorite couple that I am not a part of is Bishop x Jules. The seafarer and the doctor. I like their opposite personalities and approaches to life. I think they are good for each other <3

9. Share your favorite *artist entry* fable design (can be made by you or another player!):
I didn’t see this when I responded to 6. But, anyway, my OTHER favorite artist entry is this one by wind song. I like the cool tree with the embers. I am fascinated by fire so this is a slam dunk design.

10. What has been your favorite nursery - Autumn Haunting, Winterspell, or Spring Reverie? Why?
Autumn and Spring are at a tie. Autumn has my favorite color palettes and themes tend to be more spooky. Whereas Spring has bright pastels and fairy vibes. I can’t choose.

11. Share a few of your favorite fable traits (ears, tails, wings, etc):
I might be bias but I love the medium antlers. I want to get my grubby hands on some spring traits like bloom horns, overgrown base, pond base, butterfly wings, braided tail, and bouquet.

12. What has been one of your favorite past adopt prompts?
This might be a weird one. But I really liked the schedule of your fable prompt. It was neat to imagine the day to day activities of a fable. I had to do some research what a royal adviser (my prompt response) did in the middle ages. ALSO! I loved the locate the cat fables game! I hope that comes back even if we smashed that puzzle in record time.

I already shared the winter ball with everyone. But I also wrote a lore prompt where Cian confesses his feelings to Kleio. I think it’s cute: read here.

I come back to this entry by Melonbread for fable 88. I love the characterization of the fable and snake. I like the dialogue. The action is fun. It has a twist. Very well done.

16. Does your fable have a theme song/character playlist or another piece of media that reminds you of them?
All of my fables have a theme song. You can check them out in my fable storage

17. What’s one of your favorite things about the fables species and/or community?
Aside from the fables themselves, I love that worldbuilding is the norm. As a writer, I often feel neglected in species for favor of traditional art. Fables has had plenty of writing prompts to test my merits. Not to mention the lore prompts that get my creative juices flowing. Then you have the community itself that is so imaginative. It makes me want to do better for my fables. I’m impressed by everyone’s worlds, and art, and writing. We have something rare here and I hope to nurture this culture of building up our characters.

18. Do you have any big fable goals or aspirations that you’ve set
I want to eventually have an entire royal court for my herd, Herd Solasta. I want a royal adviser, knights, lords and ladies, chefs, gardeners, you name it. As for worldbuilding, I have an entire plot-line for Cian that involves an evil herd I haven’t even started yet ;.; a long way to go. It will be fun though!

19. What helps to inspire or motivate you to develop your fables and/or their world?
The users in this community. I see the art, writing, and lore they pour into their fables. I want to do the same. Shout out to bezel’s incredible herd storage.

20. What’s something about the species or community that you’re most excited about or are looking forward to?
I am crafting a group roleplay that I hope a lot of people in the community will participate in. It will be similar to dnd in that there will be a map, with points of interest to explore, and as you explore I will update the sections that describe those points of interest/update the map. There will be roles in the story you can claim for your fables. There will be a mystery to unravel. You can roleplay as many of your fables as you want, in any form. I think it will be fun!

21. Where do your fables live?
My Fables live in a herd. Herd Solasta. Their territory is called the Great Wood. It’s just as the name sounds, an ancient forest. There is lots of magic and also danger. You can read about how they came to be in this story.

22. Tell us about the magic in your fable’s world; are there rules regarding its use? Do all fables have the capacity for it?
Ok, so! At first I thought I would have every Fable be able to use minor Earth magic. Nothing fancy, just pushing or pulling plants or making them grow faster. But now I am leaning to the majority have minor Earth magic but there are still some Fables without magical gifts at all. More importantly, I had it so that only herd leaders or herd heirs had any other magic besides Earth, I called them “specialty magic”. But… now I don’t want to be limited by that and think it will be more so that extremely rarely does a Fable get anything other than minor Earth magic unless they are a herd leader or herd heir. But it can happen… like my recently won unicorn has some aura magic. We’re fluid with our ideas over here. Also, also, there are some “forbidden magics” but that depends on the herd. Like my herd, Solasta, they forbid any dark magics like necromancy, blood arts etc. Incidentally, the heir to Herd Solasta has blood magic, that is just a secret c;

23. Tell us about some of the flora and fauna we might encounter while exploring your fable’s world:
You got everything in the Great Wood. Old trees, glowing moss, strange flowers, rare herbs. Some plants only grow in the Great Wood and those are harvested to trade at the ports or seasonal markets.

24. Is there religion in your fable’s realm? What sort of deities reside there, and how are they worshipped?
GREAT QUESTION. So. So far I have two gods: Grian (sun) god of sunlight and Sgàil (shadow) god of shadows. Grian is the originator of Light and Earth magic, Sgàil is the originator of Darkness and Blood magic. Grian rules the day, Sgàil rules the night. Sgàil wanted to rule during the day too so he gathered all his Under-realm minions and tried to make the world shadows. There was a big war. Yada yada. Grian won and banished Sgàil from the world. It’s taboo to worship Sgàil but some herds still do, cough, Herd Solasta’s neighbor, cough. I am sure I will add more gods when it’s relevant, but you have those two for now.

25. What are some holidays or common celebrations in your fables world? How do they celebrate?
I have it so that the Fables gather to celebrate every turn of the season. It’s usually a ball or a festival. The hosting herd and location changes between herds so no one feels too important. Fables travel from far and wide, by portal, to attend these functions. There is a lot of politics to these festivities between herds. Some alliances forged or broken behind the scenes.

26. What do your fables commonly eat? What’s their favorite food or drink?
I haven’t decided… I write them as mostly humanoid so I figure they can have a human diet. My lore is set in loosely medieval times so it would be the foods available back then.

27. What kind of clothing or costume would your fable(s) wear?
Medieval attire! Think tunics, and stockings, and extravagant gowns. A little fantasy twist if I want rarer colored dyes or more modern silhouettes. But mostly it looks ye oldie times.

28. Does your fable have any pets, familiars, or companion animals?
I am trying to link up each of my fables with a companion/familiar. So far Cian has a black roan pegasus stallion named Fearthainn. And my fable, Rath, has a female direwolf companion named Narah. Everyone else is a wip.

29. If your fable was in a Dungeons & Dragons party, what would be their race/class?
I am not too familiar with DnD but I will try. Sorry if I mixed races or classes that don't go together.

   Nov. 2024, I saw the artist search pop up on the forums and wanted to give it a shot! I remember completing my entries just in time before I left home to visit family for Thanksgiving. I couldn't stop coloring on the lines bezel had made!! I really loved them.
   I was still incredibly confused about how tickets, slots, nurseries, etc. worked, so I didn't dip my toes into the community again until I understood a little more about how to participate in forum adoptables (despite being on CS since 2009, I never really cared about adoptables much.)
   
   
2. Introduce us to your very first fable! (If you don’t have one yet, tell us about a fable character concept you have!)
   Goosedown, my boy!! He is here on the oekaki boards. I wanted a fable based on the look of the Canadian Goose, or the Owl Finch (my favorite bird,) and I have since decided that he lives in a wooded area similar to the northeastern US/eastern Canada. He is a guardian of the forest, quasi-magical, and often invisible to mortal humans like you and I. It's his job to maintain peace and order among the denizens of the wood. Eventually I will start making comics about him.

   Fable #65, owned by Melonbread. A large portion of that is due to the design ^^; This was the first Fable I really, really wanted, and I was awaiting the competition results with bated breath. I've since created a different ungulate OC based on the lore I had written for this one, but still, Bellamy is a beautiful Fable and my hat is off to Melonbread for winning a tight competition.
   Flannagáin, owned by alphanea. I love his WHOLE vibe, his backstory, his bombastic plumage, everything
   Haze, owned by Exitium. Another really beautiful design.

   I have several short comics featuring Goosedown and his woods, which I've created outlines for, but haven't advanced much beyond that.

15. What’s one of your favorite things about the fables species and/or community?
    The breadth of creativity and interpretations people have taken from this one species!! At the end of the day it's simply a type of fantasy horse(?), but people have come up with all manner of storylines, magic systems, etc. for them.
    
    
16. What helps to inspire or motivate you to develop your fables and/or their world?
    As someone with other ongoing creative pursuits that are more intensive, thinking about my Fables is a nice break from the completely-"original" content I'm trying to come up with, but it's also a great testing ground for ideas and character mechanics. So what helps me and inspires me is the lower amount of pressure--knowing I'm doing this for fun, and because I love to.
    
    
17. Where do your fables live? In a herd, a forest, a castle, a cottage, a big city? Why and how do they live there?
    All of them live somewhat separated from each other, so far!
    Goosedown lives in the woods of the north, as mentioned earlier. He has a menagerie of friends (and frenemies) there, including a moose who is reluctant to acknowledge his existence and a fox who is hell-bent on mischief.
    Curtis lives in an area like the Southwestern US, a fellow of the desert and the high plains. He is amicable to all creatures, but lives a solo existence, taking his guardianship role very seriously and finding no time to entertain others as a result.
    Harpsichord is a messenger and helper to all guardians, including Curtis and Goosedown. She is acquainted with them both, and advises Goosedown frequently, since he's somewhat newer to his role as a guardian and needs all the help he can get.
    
    
18. Tell us about some of the flora and fauna we might encounter while exploring your fable’s world:
    I wrote a post about some of the flora in their world here but I'm still developing a lot of it. The general ethos is that Fables care greatly for animals and plants, and tend towards an extreme interest in botany and horticulture. They can commune with all of nature, but it's the less "vocal" bits that fascinate them--like plants (and fungi.)
    
    
19. Is there religion in your fable’s realm? What sort of deities reside there, and how are they worshipped?
    Monotheism (LOL probably predictable, given my username on here); essentially Fables are to the animal kingdom what Judeo-Christian angels are to humanity. I think they live in a slanted version of our world--like our earth, but in a different font.
    
    
20. What do your fables commonly eat? What’s their favorite food or drink?
    Goosedown likes to munch on ferns and moss. He is not above eating a pinecone or two in the winter months, or maybe bark. He delights in wild raspberries.
    Curtis sustains himself on the fruit of cacti, wild oats and rye, and black-eyed susan flowers as a treat. When he's doing his rounds in the desert, his antler flowers don't bloom unless he's sufficiently hydrated.
    Harpsichord likes Caprisun, oreo cookies, and applesauce. She pilfers this stuff out of the abandoned lunchboxes of small children. I've seen it.
    
    
21. What kind of clothing or costume would your fable(s) wear?
    They are all au naturale. I think Curtis would wear a cowboy hat if he could find a 40-gallon.
    
    
22. Does your fable have any pets, familiars, or companion animals?
    I love coyotes, so Curtis might get some kind of spectral coyote companion at some point.

   i've been trying since fable #4 on and off, gave a bit pause and came back around fable #100 and kinda joined the discord and became more active around the same time.

   for romantic:boreas & alopex - boreas was cursed at birth, freezing all that touch him. he's a bit of a witchdoctor, focusing on trying to heal other fables with afflictions, meanwhile alopex is a fable on the run. he holds a very powerful ability to heal diseases and cure afflictions - but for some unexplained reason he's not willing to help anyone, thus he is being hunted for his ability. they have a 'fox and hound' kinda relationship.
   for platonic: grimshire & imogen - imogen was summoned by grimshire because he's a cursed fella that was trying to cure himself but instead ended up getting haunted by a demon that likes to bug him. ;u;

    oh boy oh - i don't know why it's special but it is. i haven't been involved in closed species since 2013-ish. the art is pretty, the designs are all bangers and there's something about fables kinda being their thing on a relaxed way rather than trying to specifically be something unique is a nice touch.

    uhh... to get more sea creature/pirate fables? i got a pirate and a merfolk that i accomplished.

    their designs are what inspires me to come up with things about them - i just look at a fable and feel what they should be from their vibes. as to what keeps me pushing to develop them in general that i can then share more things about them to unsuspecting strangers.
    
    
20. What’s something about the species or community that you’re most excited about or are looking forward to?
    mostly just getting to build a world with my friend and also interact with other users and see what they are doing with their little guys <3

    all of them live in their little dimensions. imogen lives with grimshire, probably in like a shed or something. nereida lives at the bottom of the ocean in her oceanic castle because she's a sassy and melancolic queen. flann lives in his pirate ship. alopex doesn't have a residence, he just crashes wherever safe on his travels, he can't afford to get tied down to a place with the bounty on his head.

    not all fables, although flann is the only non-magical one (at least not by birth, he can very well come to possess magical items). there are definitely rules and restrictions to its use but the magic is kinda wild and untamed and crazy things tend to happen in my universes.

    imogen is the familiar lol. nereida has a lot of aquatic pets, one of her favourites are a duo of moray eels that live under her throne.

    alopex really likes a fable that stubbornly chases after him even though he pretends he's sick of running, he actually likes the chase a lot. imogen swaps the labes on grim's vials when he's not looking. flann as a very secret and very complex hair-care routine that he never speaks about, he claims that his mane looks that gorgeous naturally.

   I just claimed my 6th! I wasn't keeping track in my head consciously, I was surprised by that number! So much of their personality still lives in my head, but I have some stuff on their storage pages

   I really enjoy them being in their traditional forms! There may be parts of my development that require them to be in a different form, but that's later down the line.

   I seriously cannot pick just one. Each artist is so creative! Here are my favorites from each artist.
   ✦ bezel: Something always draws me back to Fable #30. The colors are just divine! Their Kleio is a close second.
   ✦ ilya: Fable #2-47 is so incredibly unique and immersive, it's like my screen is dripping water! I really admire Fable #2-42 as well.
   ✦ feverrr: There's something so darling about Fable #141. She's just so sweet!
   ✦ Snowflakette: The vibrance of #Fable 98 is so beautiful! The concept is so fun
   ✦ molotov: Fable #3-24 has such an interesting theme, and it's executed so well! #3-9 tied for my favorite of theirs.
   ✦ SaltyBirb: Fable #2-67, hands down, is amazing. My jaw dropped when I saw them!

    birdsong by bezel took my breath away. It has such a cryptic atmosphere that i'm addicted to, and it's so beautiful. I might be projecting, but there's some mournful horror to it that I love.

    Ribbons by Lia Ravelle is such a Wonder song. But Elphael has the most fleshed out playlist so far!

    Music! And divine, fated tragedy! I also draw a lot of inspiration from some media, but still follows very evocative and sorrowful themes haha

    So.... the answer everywhere. Ilwydar is a vast world, and while I know that Wonder and Elphael reside on the same continent/country area, the rest of my Fables do not! Elphael is guard to a ruined kingdom, Wonder is a nomad, Finch and Solace do live on the same continent as well but oversee a southern forest under the care of Dusk and Dawn. Taric is on a continent to the northeast, and Elide is on the same continent as Taric! (Continent names a forever eternal WIP...)
    They all are mostly nomads, though do have some towns they return back to rarely.
    
    
21. Tell us about the magic in your fable’s world; are there rules regarding its use? Do all fables have the capacity for it?
    The magic of Ilwydar as a whole is rooted in what it's inhabitants call "The Song." The earth was once a wellspring of this magic, but it faded over time due to scale imbalance and greed. With the arrival of Fables, it seems to be getting louder once more! Although it's referred to as song, it's not something one can hear with their ears, but rather with the mind, or full body feeling.
    The Song has no rules, but can leave those who lose their hearts, or struggle to take root in a Fable who doesn't believe in theirs.
    I'm working on a second magic system/type, but I know that the third magic type is forgotten/forbidden.
    
    
22. Tell us about some of the flora and fauna we might encounter while exploring your fable’s world:
    I talked about flora here, and most fauna on Ilwydar largely resemble creatures in our natural world today, but with communicatable sentience. Those who are magic-touched carry traits you would not see irl, and the song-bereft are living husks of what once was fantastical beauty. Griffon types, harpies, sphinx and buraq types! Also some are not as fantasy based as those examples... sometimes a mythical creature is just a neon blue mouse, you know?
    
    
23. Is there religion in your fable’s realm? What sort of deities reside there, and how are they worshipped?
    This is... a good question! Much of the natural world is revered as some holy thing, primarily The Dawn and Dusk being the biggest... religion? Faith or doctrine! The cycles of Dawn to Dusk are cyclical, life to death, light and dark. Those who congregate under this faith do so to ease their fears of the unknown, and usher aid to those who need it. The stewards of the Dawn and Dusk take care of their world, their environments, their people. It is through the efforts of the remaining stewards that Ilwydar begins to flourish once more!
    
    
24. What kind of clothing or costume would your fable(s) wear?
    Wonder has a wonderful scarf that looks woven of the sun and stars simultaneously. It wraps beautifully around her neck, bunches over her back and down her sides, and pins around her wings. She doesn't wear it often, but when she must travel great distance, it weaves itself out of thin air to blanket her.
    Elphael once had a sword. He was the only knight to forgo the traditional knightly raiment, opting for a breastplate and front bracers only, and these too were rarely worn. He trusted more in the weight of his sword and stance of his feet than things that would only get in his way.
    Elide and Taric may wear similar garb, opting for thick, embroidered textiles to ward off the coldest night, pinned similarly around their neck and chest.
    Finch and Solace see... little point in clothing if it'll just get dirty anyway. "So itchy, so heavy! Whatever, let's go!"
    
    
25. Share an idea/scene/story concept you want to work on for your fable(s) but haven’t started yet:
    I usually start my process with a scene popping into my head, and try to paint it with words after. I really want to write out the eternal watch Elphael is on, and what finally breaks him from it.
    
    
26. If your fable was in a Dungeons & Dragons party, what would be their race/class?
    Oh this question is for me. I love this question.
    Wonder: Cleric! Specifically the Light domain, or the Life domain, though I like Light more for her.
    Elphael: Paladin, Oath of Devotion (or of the Crown. Either way I think he ends up breaking his oath). Assigning him a haunted one background just for funsies.
    Solace: Bard, College of Creation
    Finch: Rogue, scout
    Elide: Druid, Circle of the Shepherd (and the moon, why not!)
    Taric: Ranger, drakewarden?
    
    
27. Share a secret about your fable(s):
    Elphael is the last true witness to the cataclysm, but whether or not he ever remembers what happened, is up to him.

    a big part of what motivates me to make designs is to see what others do with them/how others interpret the adopts, so I was raving with kite when she showed me bezel’s art of isel and Melonbread’s art of liujin in the same day! I’m living vicariously through these stunning works <3
    
    
16. Does your fable have a theme song/character playlist or another piece of media that reminds you of them?
    maigue’s concept design was inspired by the cover art of archangel, which became her theme song! honestly I just pick whatever song I come across and see where it takes me
    
    
17. What’s one of your favorite things about the fables species and/or community?
    everyone is so sweet and friendly and supportive!! 🥹🥹 content wise, I adore how everyone worldbuilds for their characters! I'm gonna need to catch up on reading the lore prompts sometime. like kite said, it feels like the norm to create content but there's no pressure to share with the class/you can totally just collect them cuz they're pretty. there's so much freedom in what you can do (get turned into a pebble by a malicious entity pfthaha) and I think it's quite accessible to both beginners and character enjoyers
    
    
18. Do you have any big fable goals or aspirations that you’ve set (or already accomplished)?
    I'd love to make fullbody standee-type references of my fables' human designs to go with their feral refs! [thumbnails here] posing is very fun to sketch out, the lineart and anatomy fixes, not so much
    
    
19. What helps to inspire or motivate you to develop your fables and/or their world?
    I need friends to headcanon with/urge me or they're never getting cool art 😭 the lore prompts have been making me think a lot though
    
    
20. What’s something about the species or community that you’re most excited about or are looking forward to?
    summer nursery!! I'll have more time to make stuff then, but until then I'm also looking forward to the group roleplay kite is setting up, can't wait to see what everyone creates!

    I like to think in my OC worlds everyone’s convinced there are magic rules, but no one’s certain of any of them! my fables have trivial amounts of magic, they are mostly ordinary :>

    anything humans eat they can too, and maybe a little beyond!

27. What kind of clothing or costume would your fable(s) wear?
    right now they're an eclectic mix of modern and fantastical clothing! (think swords and capes, but also hiking boots and party dresses) though they're definitely in a more epic fantasy setting than my urban AU characters. I try to give themes for everyone so they each have a defining silhouette, for example llyr wears big shirts + slim pants with ballerino vibes, and gong wu's outfit is very much inspired by martial arts fighting games!

29. If your fable was in a Dungeons & Dragons party, what would be their race/class?
    I don't know much about D&D, but my friends and I have been doing an RPG AU to brainstorm what kind of gameplay they'd have! here's mine: [llyr – shielding support, less heals but provides debuffs] [gong wu – fighter type with some tank abilities he throws his massive travelling cart at people, also a travelling shop NPC] [maigue – agile, melee flanker play style]

    gong wu had an ex lover, what happened to them he wouldn't give hints about, but the fact that his previous job was a funeral director might..
