Hi, I was very kindly directed here lol. Just found out about fables so I don't have one yet, but I think they're very neat. I'm new to the adoptables thing so I'm just kinda looking and learning ig lol

Hello! I think I posted here just once but I love admiring all the art of your fables and reading all the lore you built around them.

My fables live in a land with a lot of different environments in it (forests, mountains, ocean...), I love to have freedom to develop each fable in the perfect place for them! I'm working on a map (thanks @Northstar. for telling us about the existence of Inkarnate, I LOVE it, and it's free). They are magical creatures but usually magic manifests itself in strange and unexpected ways (If you know The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini it works about the same as magic around dragons). I also decided to assign them a "familiar" or companion of a particular species that matches their personality.

Here my two fables:
- Iacuna, a quite cynical lady but at the same time a dreamer
- Nereus, the hyppocampus. He is torn between the sea (= freedom, but at the same time loneliness) and the land (=family, but at the same time monotony). The way he became an hippocampus is perfect example of what I meant with the "magic manifests itself in strange and unexpected ways" above!

I'll try to be more active here, I love the community that has been created! Congrats to all the new owners and good luck to all the ones who don't have a fable yet!

Nothing much yet! I'm hoping to build her lore after getting a couple friends for her
The bare basics set up for her so far is that she's fairly young and very much is a swamp girly. Very shy and loves to lurk just out of sight of others.
Luckily, her coat blends in to her enviorment and it makes her perfect for camouflage 😌
