@bezel thank you! I feel like small details are the charm points that pull designs together, and fables artists are really good at using them well, so I always end up staring at the refs +_+ I really like Chione's sickle claw! And very tickled by the fact that the horse's tack resembles Kleio's fable form, that's super fun, haha.
re: fable 100, that's pretty exciting, no matter what it is; preemptive congratulations on the milestone! I'd agree with everyone that a high-effort competition would be nice, as it opens up the possibilities of tickets and such and ends up distributing awards to multiple people. I'll admit that I'm not a fan of reverse raffles where getting nominated by other users is an extra entry; it feels unfair for more introverted people or nonowners that aren't well-known in the community. Things like an art gifting event might be fun though!
@Butter Dragon I've already said it, but again, I'm so glad to see you like it so much :'D And congrats again on your very pretty RU ^^
@BlueEyedKite Hope you're feeling better! Perrin might know something about Cian's curse, but even if he did, I'm not sure if he'd actually say... he's kind of cautious, haha. Thank you as well! Human forms are super fun, so I look forward to seeing your guys in the future!
@certified Really cute art! Pollux's warm glow is super pretty.
@kaju Congrats on Khuno! The texturing on her tail is lovely; she looks very soft.
As for myself, I've been slowly writing out some lore for my fables and their world in between commissions and work, and storing it all here on CS for now (stares at the edit count slowly rising because I am evidently constantly plagued by typos). I uh... blather a lot when left to my own devices :') looking at it I realize that both of my fables are loners and a bit difficult to approach as a result, but now and into the future all of my fables are always open to connections and the like.

I am very excited for Fable #100, maybe something different and unique like a Buraq?

Although Im probably the only fan of human-face cervids, after playing The Endless Forest a long while ago.
But I have to say a high-effort competition would likely drive me away from entering. The "go all-out any art is allowed" contests always intimidate me, as I am not a good artist and if art quality is taken into consideration - I am automatically out! So I personally would like a more inclusive contest to enter.

The Endless Forest is one of my favorite concepts, I would love to see a fable like that someday! I love unique mythical creatures, harpy, sphinx and buraq types are one of my favorites.
I do agree that the contest should be inclusive and allow for multiple types of entries (art or writing etc), and agree that reverse raffles are a bit of a turn-off.
It's been so awesome being a part of this community, and i'm so happy to be here when we hit 100! I can't wait to see the creativity everyone will continue to bring <3

So do we automatically get a ticket for entering, or are they awarded via the artist of the fable we entered for?
Thank you!
I’m not the owner, nor am I an artist, but tickets are awarded as like an honorable mention. So essentially, instead of offering a RU, the artist(s) will post the winner and whomever they’re giving tickets to. So whatever fable you’ve entered for, if they’ve announced a winner, they’ve more than likely announced who a ticket has been given to on the same fable in the save post of the winner.

(Also not Fable staff) To add on to what cert said. You will know if you got a ticket! The Fable artist will post if any tickets were given out and which users earned them. I hope to earn one too someday c: I haven't entered for a complex prompt yet. I bet Fable 100 will be a possibility, depending on the contest! That's my hope. I will be going all out if it's allowed ^^ if you still have questions, don't be shy! I am sure someone in the community knows.

holy moly I can finally say I got my first fable! this guys are so gorgeous, I have always been immensely fond of medieval style unicorns so I was hooked as soon as the lineart was first posted. I am so happy to welcome the stunning, prismatic Araceli to my humble home.
I'm excited to expand on his lore, and draw him with some of his colorful feathered jungle friends. I imagine he uses his magic mainly to care for others, and tending to a very needy exotic fruit and flower farm that he enjoys laboring over meticulously. cheers to bezel for this lovely adopt, thank you again for awarding him to me! ♥

Congratulations on your first, Pandora! Araceli is a dream Fable. I hope to see him around the community c: kelpie and rainbow traits will be off the chain for breedings! Lucky lucky
Edit: vvvv I am just a tiny lil hobby artist T.T but I for one would run away screaming if I had to design a Fable off of 2 designs put together. They are drop dead gorgeous species but so layered, you know what I mean? I could understand if twin breeding was a once a seasonal nursery thing. vvvvvvv
