Have you ever had a rat?: Yes, four actually - almost six. First came Kurt & Logan (hooded rats; Logan was black hoodie, and Kurt was a gray hoodie, lol). Logan reached a good age for a rattie but when his health suddenly took a turn for the worse he was taken to a vet for advice... but was laid to rest later that day. I still feel like Kurt died a few weeks later of a broken heart for the loss of his brother, they were so tight, no matter how many cuddles and love I could give... I couldn't explain to him what happened, and it still upsets me. After that I went a few years without any because loosing them was like loosing family. Then along came Dewi & Brevi... a pair of dumbo rats (Dewi was a lovely shade of solid stormy rex gray, and Brevi looked like a light gray husky). Dewi went the same as Logan did after about a year of life with me (;_; I have the worst luck most fo the time and nature can be so cruel), and because I knew Brevi would likely live a long time on his own if he didn't go like Kurt I tried to get two young rats to bond with him for company, but that didn't work out... and so he remained my last rat for over a year and a half till the end of his days (I didn't have room for more ratty housing in my bedroom, so I had to return the two young rats - luckily I had made prior arrangements for this in case they didn't get along). R.I.P little guys, I still think of you in moments of quiet and smile at your faces, twitchy noses, tiny hands... and even remember the sensation of gently playing with your tails. <3

I have no rats at the moment though, maybe again in the future. For now, I generally smile - and occasionally laugh - at ratty antics everywhere.

For me, they come out at 8:00 PM, EST instead of midnight. I don't know where you live, but that's when it comes out where I am. Maybe you can relate it to where you are and find out?

Have you ever had a rat?: :3Nope, but I have had mice, they are so cute! But rats are smarter. My extended maths teacher had rats, one died of cancer. But the other one lived. She brought her to show us. She even gave my classmate a little gift!(poop)
