XD I got like 12 of the red pygmy and like NONE of the yellow, or the darn Female I need XD But I'll get'em eventually! I really just want more Slip-slops and runedeer... cause I'm missing slip-slops and I'm hoarding my little runedeer >.>

Well, you can do just about as much as you can on Eldemore that you can do with Eldemore. Although eld has a few different features like the explore map that is used during special events/holidays... Eldemore is currently having a Yuletide Event now. Still time to join in on the fun!
Also, yes. You can trade for baubles. No need to always pay for them, everyone trades baubles often! As for the community, it is really, really great!
