so i had typed out this super long post on my fire, with images and everything, i had edited out all the extra i's and u's that the stupid thing added and was all ready to post, when the fudging internet cut out and deleted the entire ,, fudging ,, thing and i am literally shaking with rage right now why is this my life, i've retyped about everything i remember but i'm still mad so my apologies if some of this seems a bit stiff.

edit; had to stop about halfway through to do something else, but i accidentally posted it instead of saving the draft, this post is fudging cursed i swear


anyway! since my last post in october, i have gained four more vaikis.




this is adrien! i had some notes about him but lost them all. he was the cyop that i posted back in october, he was done forever ago but i kept forgetting to post him. he appears very sweet, with his fUDGING ADORABLE cute little freckles and baby blue eyes, but really he is a sneak. he tends to stick with jericho more often than not, and they get into all kinds of trouble together (all of it is adrien's fault).

yes, he's named after the miraculous ladybug character, fight me.





the second and last girl in this family of ten, damini! one would think that she would be a welcome relief to poor kenwei, but she is unfortunately just a new flavor of suffering in kenwei's life of woe. if, at any point in time and space, there is an opportunity to do something dangerous, life-threatening, and utterly pointless, damini is there doing it. she has recently discovered the joys of parkour, and is currently busying herself with shaving a few more years off kenwei's life (it's not enough that she routinely endangers herself and destroys private property, she has to get the boys doing it.

like adrien, damini was posted a billion years ago, but i kept forgetting about her. for some reason i always remember stuff like this when it is physically impossible to access the internet.)





introducing the cherry blossom edgelord, ryuu! he tries to be edgy but he's not actually very good at it. he tried the 'dark and moody' thing at one point, but it just.. didn't work out. his naturally bright personality is, apparently, too exuberant to remain suppressed for long, so now he settles for excessive weaponry. this means that several katanas and about 50+ knives and throwing stars have been hidden in various places around the house. kenwei has been trying to confiscate them all, but there are too many. she's still not sure where he's getting them all from.

(ryuu was also posted forever ago, but i only learned of his existence last night when i saw him in the archives rip)





enter cole, the grumpy old man! originally called don but i'm changing it because i think i was suffering from a severe lack of sleep when i named him

he's not actually old (turned 21 a few months ago), but he acts like it. constantly world-weary and forever Done With Everything™ , cole spends most of his time either escaping the madhouse through the magic of professional photography (he's the only one to have a job, kenwei is too busy managing the kids and everyone else is still in school) or drowning his sorrows in copious amounts of chamomile tea (kenwei banned all alcohol from the house the first night the boys got into it). his preferred approach to dealing with the others' antics is either to ignore it in the hope that it'll go away on its own, or let kenwei deal with it. if someone actually does get hurt, though, his mother hen instincts come out in full force. it's really very amusing when this collides with kenwei's own tendency to mother hen, as each passive-aggressively tries to oust the other from the mother hen throne.

i seem to develop my kids more through relationships with each other than through giving them actual personalities tbh

I'm pretty new to the species i guess? I've seen them around, but haven't really been interested or actually tried out for one yet until recently! they all look really adorable.

Also, something I've been thinking about recently: I've noticed that many people, myself included, develop their vaikis with human-like traits/personalities/jobs/etc, although I originally wrote the species info like they're pets. So I'm considering rewriting the species info to be a little more open to however the owner would like to develop their character (you could keep them as pets or make them more human like). Since they're a fictional species I wouldn't mind giving more freedom to how people interpret the 'canon' vaiki world.
Any opinions on this? I'll set up a poll as well nvn
