Just got off work. I'm going to go donate plasma which take about two hours for me so I have a bit of time to start my holibombing adventures and chat a bit.

How do you all decide who to give more valuable gifts to? I'd like to choose five people this year to bomb hard but I'm not sure how to decide other than the things in question being on their wishlist. How do you guys choose?

Edit;; I think I'm going to go by the vibes and people who have a lot in common with me. And hopefully, someone whose dream pet I have an extra of lying around.

For me I also tend to go a bit by vibe and a bit by random, the main thing for me is I try to give those big gifts to players that seem at least semi-active

Trueee ngl I do look at join dates before sending something valuable, I like to know it's going to someone that will be around and cares about their collection. I don't always do it but if they've been here a few years it is reassuring it's not going to go to a dead account. qq

Ooooh! Good question! This is relevant to me as I would like to think I have a dragon hoard OuO I tend to give rare pets to most of the people I bomb if they have a huge wishlist. Like the random rares I have that I know most people are never going to go hunting for (a rare cat from 2014 etc) I send those as gifts. The other user is thrilled to have them and that random cat was just going to rot in my trades group til the end of time, for real.

The very rares I have to be picky with since even I don't have too many. I probably only part with a very rare if I see they list it as a dream pet or they are a collector and I see they have a dedicated group for that species. I once gifted a user who needed 9 more ponies and I had one of the ponies they needed. So, why not? I don't think anyone is breaking my virtual door down for a 2009 VR pony, but to that user it meant something <3 I love gifting pets I can see are going to good homes! Two years ago I decided I no longer cared for sitting cats (sorry warrior cats lol) so I gifted my true date warrior cats to users who listed them as dreamies TuT I think my tess dragons will be next.

I know I am a little weird gifting such valuable pets, but what do I have all these thousands of pets for anyway? When I get trades it's for the same 5 list pets. The majority of users don't care about off-list rares and I actually feel guilty my pets just sit in a trade account for years on end. My solution is to give them away if it looks like the right home. So find the right home

Edit: oh! I like what Verdana said a "pet redistribution system" that's how I see it too! I am taking pets that normally don't move in the trade economy and moving them to new accounts! Exactly.

I vibe too. If I have a LOT on someone's wishlist, I try to go for bulk. I think I tend to be more sympathetic to players who have given many gifts but received few, and players with tiny wishlists. If I have a dream pet duplicate of someone's, I try to give that within reason. But my philosophy has always kind of been that you give what you can, and that it all sort of equalises. I like to think of it as a pet redistribution system. And I also keep an eye out for players I know are good eggs, players who are very active... It's case by case.

For me, it depends on how much I have off their wishlist! If I’ve got a ton on their wishlist, then I tend to full send it and throw a bunch at them!

I kinda do it by random unless its a friend, i love sending nukes to friends >:3
or to players who dont got alot

finally hit 70 holibomb! next goal is 100 really loving this so far. i love hearing that people's days are made with gifts, thank you to everyone who gifted me! i love the otters, at the begining of this month i was at 300, after all the holibombs i have gotten with otters im am so close to my goal of 1000 otters. sitting at 767! please go gift everyone listed here, they really are amazing people!
