Broken truth, whispering lies
And it hurts again..

What I fear and what I try,
The words I say and what I hide
All the pain, I want it to end
But I want it again..

And it finds me
The fight inside is coursing through my veins
And it's raging
The fight inside is breaking me again..

Still the same, pursuing pain
Is it worth all that I've gained?
We both know how it will end,
But I'd do it again..

"The tigers of wrath are wiser than the horses of instruction."

The malicious brute merely laughed, eyes snapping to the fae. "Oh, but why would I want to leave? You're to much fun to toy with, my little mongrel fiend." He sneered, circling her with the stance of a predator. He couldn't wait to unleash chaos upon these mangy mutts. They knew nothing of the power Master could of given them if their ancestors had just accepted his gift. In a way, the Sins he released was just his sorrow of their rejection.. his payback with the hurt they caused him. Of course, they would never understand. No, they had rocks for brains. If a deer was placed right in front of their snout they wouldn't see that the prey was just out of their grasp. All they would need to do is move forward and snap it's neck, but no. They just stand there with their worthless packs and organize hunts. This lowly lupine was nothing compared to the wrath he would unleash upon her pack. Her family, her friends.

"And plus, you still haven't answered my question. It was so simple, too." A low, rumbling growl rose through his throat and out through his maw, a snarl on the word 'simple.' Though, he halted once he was behind her, a pause in the tension brewing in the atmosphere. "Oh, I forgot. You mutts are so brainless, naive, deficient idiots that you don't even understand the meaning of simple." Ketamine chuckled, pleased with whatever he had spat at the femme. He slowly came back around to her front, the crimson orbs residing inside his skull watching her for a reaction, just waiting for the fuse inside her brain to blow.

Fairwell Chickensmoothie! It was a good run.

If there is anyone who I unfortunately left any loose ends open with when I originally disappeared from the site near the end of 2012, you're welcome to drop a PM if you'd like to try to resolve them. It has admittedly been far too many years for me to remember precisely what all may have been left unsettled.

In addition, if anyone sees this and would like to try to reestablish contact, you're more than welcome to drop me a message as well. I'll try to poke my head in over the next few months at the least in case any of the above happens, but cannot guarantee how often messages will be checked after that.

Best Regards,
HOWLING

as jakob approached, her voluminous eyes grew cold and calculating, devoid of all emotion like sharp flint chips. one hand instinctively dropped to her side, fingers trailing the slight bulge at her hip where her knife was stored. he looked so relaxed, so nonchalant, the tiniest of smiles even stretching up the sides of his lips, and ashlyn tried to mirror his expression, but she was sure her eyes reflected the terror screaming inside her. how was this happening? how had he found her? it's only a matter of time. their parting words relayed through her head, a searing stab of agony rushing through her at each syllable. she wanted to run...but she knew he'd only pursue her.

ashlyn's last encounter with jakob was flashing rapidly through her head. she could still remember the furious realization in his mind when cole pushed him away, could still hear his agonized screaming as she fled through the streets, trying so desperately to escape him and the nightmares that plagued her for years upon years upon years. now, he was back...it was like escaping to freedom, then being snatched right back into prison. she could already see the nightmares netting their way back into her mind, the nightmares she'd tried so long to forget -- new ones too, ones about cole and vincent and everything that had happened. how was this happening?

jakob took another step forward, shortening the space between them to a few feet. under normal circumstances ashlyn would have found something to say, perhaps a smart remark, or maybe she'd have just run away by this point, but she was paralyzed, her feet glued to the ground. her limbs felt like molten lead; to heavy to move or generally feel. maybe things would be different if cole were with her. maybe she'd be more confident, more brave, more obliged to stand up and protect herself and the man she loved. but cole was dead.

the fresh, unexpected, sudden stab of sorrow that came along with her thoughts jolted ashlyn out of her frightful reverie. jakob had taken another step forward, staring at her in cold amusement, one hand reaching out to touch her face. the moment his fingers made contact with her cheek ashlyn jerked away as suddenly as if she had been burned; taking several steps back, ashlyn brought one hand up to cup her cheek. "you killed cole." she whispered, voice dangerously quiet. she was tired of this. she was tired of running away, letting this man do what he wanted. this time, more forcefully, she snarled, "you killed cole, and vincent too. you expect me to love you after that?"

The rest of the day passed relatively uneventfully for Morgan, and after her dance lessons as well as a few regular school classes she was once again in the darkened studio where Mr. Alexei had dropped his bombshell the day before. She hand't seen her new partner again, and was secretly grateful. Maybe he's already gone, she thought to herself, and she had to admit that the notion didn't displease her. Unfortunately she knew getting rid of him wasn't going to be as easy as getting rid of her previous partners had been. If he had been able to leave, he probably wouldn't have come in the first place.

Thankfully for the person who knocked on the studio door that day, Morgan had yet to begin rehearsing. Still, she was not ecstatic about being interrupted. One of the male dancers that had been in her class that morning, Eric, was waiting for her on the other side of the heavy door, his raven black hair making him look imposing. Morgan had never actually been partnered with him, but she knew that he was a better than average dancer who she could respect. "So, I met your new partner," he commented to her, and she tilted her head to the side, waiting for him to go on. "He seemed almost as angry as you are all the time, but with better cause."

"I think I have plenty of cause," she replied, tapping the box of her shoe. "How would you feel? Have you ever had a partner who couldn't even plié? She crossed her arms over the front of her leotard, giving Eric a moment to think about what she had said. She had a feeling that it wasn't going to do her any good with someone as mellow and adaptable as the boy before her.

He shrugged, before adding, "You could give him a little bit of a break. Let him wear jazz pants for a few days or something. Maybe he has some natural talent."

Morgan shook her head, unable to comprehend why Eric didn't understand. Ballet was hard, and no one who started in their late teens could ever match the skill of someone trained from childhood. It just didn't work like that in the real world.
"Natural talent can't fix this situation," she sighed. "He needs to learn everything right the first time, because there just isn't enough time. It's tights or bust. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have choreography to run."

Eric shook his head as he left the room, muttering what Morgan thought sounded like, "We all know you're going to get the part," but she couldn't be sure. Though she had brushed off the tall youth, she really paused to consider his first remark, about the new guy was just as angry as she was. She had seen the fire in his expression, and had to admit that she might be able to do something with that, at the very least. Unfortunately, Morgan didn't really know how to be nice, and that was the truth that was bubbling behind her cold exterior. Unsatisfied with her conclusions she practiced longer than usual, to make up for the interruption the day before. By the time she fell into her bed that evening her muscles ached in the delicious way only a hard workout could bring.

I hope you don't intend to role play this on CS. A role play based around violence is usually shut down by the mods. The main plot point as far as I can tell is abuse, and even if you keep it PG13 or lower, I don't think it will fly =/ You could always role play the people that escape from this cruel orphanage but I doubt you can role play the abuse.
