a short explanation may be helpful, eh? ^^

I think it is a fun thing to breed dogs here at this forum so I want to make a real kennel club with you all! This mainly goes in assosiation with my Wind Hound Den where you can adopt your foundation dogs. With these you can found your very own den, collect dogs and for sure breed them!

How does this work?

you will go to my wind hound den and adopt your foundation dog(s). If you own at least one wind hound from me (either Saluki or Deerhound will do!) you can registrate your den here at the Kennel Club by using the form below. Now you can start and socialize: talk with other den owners, advertise your dogs, make friends and search for mates!

How can I breed my dogs?

For breeding your dog, you have to search for a fitting mate. This has to be of the same breed (Saluki can only be bred with Salukis and so on) and of the different gender.
You can breed two of your own dogs but after the foundation dogs, your pups will have a pedigree. So make sure that you don't breed close relatives together! You can also search for a mate of a different den. If you do so, you will have to pay the male's owner a studding fee.
When you found the two dogs you want to breed, fill ou the form below and post it here. I will open three breeding slots a time and may choose who gets them as I please.

What are close relatives?

Close relatives are siblings, Parents and children, grandchildren and cousins in first generation. These dogs can not be bred together!!!
Foundation dogs have no pedigree and can therefore be bred freely within each other.

What is the breeding fee and the studding fee?

breeding fee: you will have to pay me as an artist a breeding fee for drawing your pups. The breeder which will keep the pups has to pay the breeding fee!
- you may pay in pets or in deviant art points.
- you will pay a breeding fee for producing pups
- commonly a pup will cost one to two wishlist pets/ 30 da points. Depending on the rarity of the puppy you want to adopt, the amount or the rarity of pets (points) will rise aswell.

Studding fee: if you choose a male you do not own for mating your dog, the owner of the female has to pay a studding fee to the owner of the male. The amount of the fee can be set by the males owner but has to fulfill these rules:
- fee my consist of art, pets, items or other pups of the female's owners den
- not more than 3 CS pets or items!
- not above uncommon!
- not older than 2011!

so... the breeding fee has allways to be paid! The studding fee has to be paid additional if you choose amate from a den you do not own!

Can I sell/ trade my dogs and pups?
Yes, you can!
You can trade freely if you didn't adopt a certain dog under the condition of keeping it forever. But you have to registrate the change of the ownership of a dog. please use this form to do so and pm me with it:

Show and games

there will be some dog shows and game from time to time, where you can compete your doggies. So keep an eye out for this, there will be some great prizes, too ^^

- produce some art of your dog pituring a typical scene of it in autumn, wearing dresses or just having fun with the weather
- you may enter art of any kind: traditional, digital, oekaki or offsite
- art can be made by yourself or ordered from another artist
- only one piece per contestant (dog) if you own more than one dog, you may enter each one but will win only once!
