Arianne was raised in a loving family of five. Her mother; Alexandria, her father; Jason, and her two brothers, Jack and Andrew. She would always follow her mother around trying to be as much help to her as possible. Her mother always had feathers hanging around in the den, in her hair. One day after helping her mom clean the den she went outside looking for her brothers. She went through the woods and walked down the creek watching the fish swim by. She reminded herself that she was out there to find Jason and Andrew not to just wander around aimlessly. She continued looking but still found no signs. It started to get dark so she headed home. On her way home it kept getting darker and darker, more animals coming out in the safety of the darkness. She was frightened and nervous because this was her first time alone, outside when it was dark. She was walking through the forest when an owl hooted, it made her jump and scream. She scolded herself for being scared of a stupid owl when this little mouse appeared infront of her. She looked at it in curiosity, and it looked back at her with terror in its eyes. She was wondering why it would be so scared of her, when suddenly the owl swooped down and grabbed the mouse in its talons. She was mortified shocked that ones life could be taken like that, just wandering through the woods then BAM, your gone. She started to run back to her den just wanting lay down with her family around her. She soon neared home and walked in the den. It smelled amazing inside, like 1,000 apples had exploded. She walked into the kitchen. All of her family was there, even her two brothers. She had been terrified and alone for no reason at all she thought to herself. They ate dinner and then ate the apple pie that her mother had just made. Once dinner was done she helped her mother clean the kitchen and get everything ready for tomorrow. She didn't want to tell her mom about what she went through while in the forest. They stood in there in complete silence when her mom finally broke it, " How did you like the pie, I know its your favorite.". Adrianne," It was really good mom, thanks. Mother," Your welcome.".
Everyone went to bed, Adrianne curled up in her bed and went to sleep. She started having nightmares of creatures coming out of the woods chasing her swooping down and trying to grab her from above, she started freaking out panting and running in her sleep. All of a sudden there was a huge crashing sound. She jumped up out of her bed and ran down stairs. All of the furniture was obverturned and thrown about. She called for her father, her mother, her brothers but no one answered back. She ran all through the den trying to find her family. She looked everywhere but couldn't find anyone. She went back to the living room when suddenly she realized that all of the feathers were gone. She looked to the mouth of the den and decided to go outside. As soon as she got outside she saw a trail of feathers, they were her moms favorites, they had been hanging above the table for as long as she can remember. She ran up and grabbed them in her mouth, tears running from her eyes. She wrapped them around her tail. When she looked up she saw one lone feather stuck in the branches of a bush. She walked over to it and realised it was the feather that her mom had always worn in her mane. She held it delicatly in her mouth afraid to damage the delicate little thing. She then found a string and tied the feather to it then hung it around her neck. She sat there and thought about all the wonderfull memories she had shared with her family. She walked around some more and saw her fathers collar. She ran up to it and put it on her back leg, thats what her brothers had used to do. They would take it from thier father and attach it to thier back leg and walk around and see how long it took him to see it. She went back in the house and layed there in misery, realizing she no longer had her family.

(Her name is Adrianne, you can change it but its the name her parents gave her and she holds on to it dearly.)
