[Shard]

This is my entry so far. I'm leaning tward changing it farther by adding more feathers, more of a visible music design on them both, and so on without making their designs clashed over worked.
Everything is subject to change to the maker's of the contest's likings.
Details not seen-
The mother has music notes vining up of her back legs, but it might not be visible becasue they're black. I'll probubly change that.
-The mother does not have chibi wings. They're normal wings that are white at the top and eventualy turn the grey seen on the bird in the background and also on her side. I would have drawn out the wings properly, but then most the other detail work would have been covered so I just made them chibi.
-The pup has a silver necklace with a silver bird on it while the mother has a gold necklace of a caged bird seen on the left side
-The mother's ear that cannot been seen has grey feather earings unlike the plain hoops on in right side.
-When the pup is older, his/her markings change like any other dog would, but not entirely. I also thought of giving the pup wings, but it didn't really give options for that in the lineart, so I had the idea of the wings growing and maturing along with the pup like it would naturaly be for a bird. I was thinking the markings would become less like the mother's and more like the father's so it evens out. I would have done that in the first place, but I have no idea what the father looks like or it it's even planned at this point. Of course it doesn't have to change if the change is not deired since this technicly isn't my charactor. (I just get creative sometimes. <3)
-There's writing engraved into both of their bracelets. The mother's says "A caged bird never sings" and the pup's says "A free bird earns it's wings"

The mother's symbol means night and the pup's symbol is paradise, like the bird.
