Story:
This was not the forest.
The nameless pup looked around. What were these strange silver bars surrounding her? Everything was new and scary.
Where was her mother? She was not here.
A strange, tall, colorful creature approached her, and started babbling in an unknown language.
Suddenly a sharp spine poked her in the side, and everything went black.
Amethyst was stolen into a labratory and tested on as a pup. These scientists grafted wings on her, and did many painful tests over her early years. One test was to see how she would react to radioactivity, and it warped her fur and turned it violet and glowing, and changed her eyes that way, too. The scientists abused her often, and she has many scars hidden. Her worst are on her face when one scientist had loosed a wild dog on her when she was still a pup. It slashed her face and ripped off her tail. She finally escaped one day when she met up with another wolf (you can make this one up) who had found a way to escape the both of them. They were free, and started to travel together. SHe named herself when she escaped.
