Bearberry (they/them) grew up in a clan up north, spending most of their time up in the pines, either to enjoy the cooler breeze and sharp scents or just to rag on the red squirrels. They were never the most productive or motivated of their Clanmates, but they've always been as reliable as they've needed to be, and are generally well liked by most cats. They've always lived there, and they probably always will - the cold is familiar, the pace is steady, and the quiet is comforting. And it also makes fueling their unfortunate ice chomping habit very easy.
