You need to use the pencil tool on the round pixelated setting and not square pixelated, the square pixelated setting doesn't work for some reason and the pen tool won't be pixelated no matter what you do. If you're using a drawing pencil than you need to click the circle next to the opacity slider to make the lines opaque. If you need more help getting your lines to be properly pixelated please message me.
