Rune Magic (Legendary):
Eyes are always neutral tans/greys with vivid colored pupils
Typically (not not necessarily/required to be) paired with Earth, Plant, or Arcane magics)
Rune magic users are responsible for the creation of the runes that other Storkattens often find that help teach them magic. They craft them themselves often from stones, pieces of wood, or bone. Without these Storkies, many other Storkies might not learn their magic- or at least not as easily!
Rune magic Storkattens are responsible for the creation of things like love runes, fates runes, and colony runes as well as the magic runes. They can create healing runes for injuries Storkies as well, and are generally very useful in or out of colonies. They study, but don’t necessarily learn, other magic types intently in order to create varying runes. To do this, many Rune magic Storkies are not stationary, and instead travel around a lot in order to experience and witness other magic types in the world.
Minor Rune users: Interact with forest runes (but do not learn the magic of those runes, simply study the runes themselves), and spend time making small non magical runes or minor runes like healing or love runes. They learn from found runes and from observing all other types of magics
Major rune users: Can create larger, magical runes and more important runes like mutation runes. These Storkies travel frequently to study new magics and gift their runes- either to Storkies directly, or in areas where they sense their runes will be of use.
Paragon rune users: Can create legendary magic runes, and experience runes of the different magics they have studied and are able to create floating near them. Some may attract rune materials as well, to constantly have rune making materials on hand. The magic they use to imbue the runes with is often visible as well.

About This Storkie wrote:Tyr was born with strange, unusual colored eyes- no one quite knew what magic it was. They had never seen eyes like his... His mother and everyone else in their colony watched and wondered, trying to figure out what magic he would grow into, but he never showed any signs of magic himself. Instead he watched intently all those around him- he never learned their magic, he just... watched and studied what they did, how they worked their magic, and the effect they had on the world around them when they used their magics. He was fortunate to be born to a large colony, with every magic type one could imagine... But still he knew he was destined for something different, something unlike anything his colony had yet...
As time passed and he grew older, his lack of ability to find his own magic weighed heavily on his mind, and despite everyone's best intentions to help him learn a magic, he simply could not, and he began to feel ostracized and alone. Would he ever discover what he was meant to do? The power he was meant to wield? It seemed hopeless, as he phased out of adolescence and into adulthood, he took to wandering farther and farther from home, hoping to find his calling out there somewhere in the big wide world.
And... he did.
Down a winding path into the darkest corners of the forest that he had never dared to tread before, he felt a stillness come over him. The forest was silent, the air heavy with a magic he did not recognize. A hum, melodic and faint, began to fill his ears as he continued in further to the darkest depths of the forest, as if drawn in by a magnet. He felt almost hypnotized, something.. alluring. But what could it be? Slipping through a low thicket, he was met with a sight that made him gasp, and stop short. A massive wall of stone, with strange, unusual symbols carved into its surface, glowing and pulsing softly with light, in array of colors. What... What is this? he thought, mouth agape. It was like nothing he had ever seen before. He walked towards the glowing wall and sat before it, drinking in the unusual shapes and the sheer... beauty of it all. He thought it was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
Unable to resist, he stretched out his muzzle, eyes fixated on the glowing symbols, feeling their melodic humming filling his ears louder and louder, the glowing runes filling his vision as he neared it, closer and closer... At last he touched his pink nose to the wall. A shriek rang through the forest as he felt something sear his flesh, a blinding flash of colorful light like a kaleidoscope radiating from the little hidden grove. And for Tyr, all went black.
When he awoke, he groaned. He was laying flat on his side, the runes on the rock were no longer glowing and humming. The grove was still now, and silent. He rose to his paws and shook his head blearily. It took him a few minutes to come to and realize he could no longer see out of one eye, he was stiff and sore all over. He limped his way to a pool of water for a drink, and gasped at his new appearance. The runes were now emblazoned on his pelt, marking his skin, even his eye. He groaned softly again, and limped his way home.
Once he was home, he slept for two days and nights, and when he awoke, he felt better and stronger than ever. And mentally stronger than ever too- he felt boldened and enlightened. He knew... He knew what his purpose was, what his magic was. Finally, after so long searching, waiting, hoping... He knew. Though his new appearance startled his colony-mates, he didn't let it deter him, and the very next day after he was healed he went back to that wall of runes, studying them, sensing the magic from them had gone. But that was okay... He didn't need their magic anymore. He could make his own.

After many years of practicing, Tyr became the leader of his colony for his powerful, wonderful new magic. He learned how to craft runes, filling the forest with them, wherever he could sense they would be needed and for his colony, helping them all grow and learn their magics. He grew into a wise, fine leader. He stays close to his colony, but wanders through the woods he has dominion over often, creating runes to help others, wanting to make sure that all Storkies are able to find their magic and purpose in life, just as he was able to, with the help of runes.
