So yeah, the kanji on its leg means 'magic', 'moon', and 'music'.
The symbol on its hind leg is the Veve of Papa Legba. Papa Legba is the intermediary between the loa and humanity. He stands at a spiritual crossroads and gives (or denies) permission to speak with the spirits of Guinee, and is believed to speak all human languages. (wikipedia) A Veve is a religious symbol commonly used in voodoo. It acts as a "beacon" for the loa.
She's missing an eye, as shown in the face view without the hair, and her remaining eye is silver.
Her tongue is long and teal. xD
The Veve is on both sides, but the kanji is not.
Also, the music notes on her tail? Yeah, those are from the beginning of 'Good Enough' by Evanescence.
I would tell you what the background says, but it's pretty much just everything I've said in this description.

WOW! I love this! Umm, I have a question though. If you were to place, would I be aloud to slightly change up the design (or I can tell you what I would like to change and you can do it....)

umm, sorry to seem unflattered, but here is a little list

If you could please remove the red around the remaining eye & remove the bloody leg and stitches. That would be all. Oh, and maybe make the eye green with a purple design on it...that would be awesome. THANKS!
