Koi-Inspired? Or somewhat calico-inspired? I'm not sure. I did try to make an aquatic-y background though. I went through 4 different Ideas before coming to this one rip.
Tier 1: Horns on face
Tier 2: Visible scales. Since this is based off a koi, the design can be considered to have "visible scales" cause that's what I was trying to go for, without making it look too much like scales.
