i thought long was ll according to the genetics page?

dachshunds have three standard coat types: short hair, long hair, and wire hair.
wire is dominate to all the other coat times. smooth is next in line and long his always recessive.
two long hair parents can only produce long hairs.

WW - wire not carrying for long or smooth.
LL - smooth not carrying for long.
ll - long hair.

if you could possibly explain? im just confused is all, and if the genetics page is off somehow it makes trying to code these difficult.

@sins ; you're correct on your geno. long hair is recessive in dachshunds hence the ll and not LL. i have the genetics page set up a LL being short hair rather than having three different genos for the coat types.
