Well these actually turned out better than I thought :')
I might fix the first one as it is a bit plain.

I do quite like the grey, it's very unique.
I see where you shaded the bases with slight variation of the colour, which I love, and I have two suggestions when paired with that The white marking looks quite stark against it, so I'd just suggest a slight off-white/cream instead of pure white. Which I usually do for most whites anyways. Second, maybe some slightly more dramatic shades? Like a darker back or lighter belly, just to add that extra element of emphasis.
But overall, quite nice!
