this little fella is a pretty simple pp.
it may look like they have wings but thats actually not the case at all!
they have a poncho that looks like folded bat wings. kind of like a false set of limbs that turns out to just be a cape.

anyways, to win them id like you to figure out what they do with a poncho that is so much longer than there little legs. how do they walk like this?

Prompt: Lionus looked down at his poncho, screeching in dismay. "Too long!" His tiny, squeaky voice cried as he once again tumbled to his knees. "Too long!"

Angry, the little bat poncho pal stomped on the ground. He kicked the front of his poncho out in front of him, took a small step and repeated the process. Being a complainer, Lionus spent the whole time chattering away about how long his poncho was compared to his tiny legs.

Over time, Lionus has gotten used to his long poncho, loving to curl up like a bat beneath. He lets it drag behind him, even though it gets dirty, but spends the evening lovingly cleaning it to make it white as white can be once more.

As much as it seems like having a poncho that much longer than your own short legs is, Siama never really had a problem with it. At least, not for long.

He did have a little trouble with his poncho when he was very young, though that was more due to just being naturally clumsy as he grew up. Really, navigating with the poncho is as easy as letting it drag on the ground beside him instead of in front of him, but when he was younger he'd often over or under estimate distances and would accidentally catch the hem of the poncho with his feet, causing him to stumble. He's since grown out of that clumsy phase and hasn't had much trouble with it since.

However, the few times he did stumble or trip were naturally always in very public, very embarrassing situations that would leave him incredibly flustered and mumbling apologies to everyone as he scurried off, trying desperately not to trip again.

However, his poncho has become quite a conversation starter. Other ponchos are often intrigued by his apparent wings and ask him many questions ranging from "Are those actually wings? Can you fly?" to "How do you even manage with something like that?"

His poncho is quite the ice-breaker when meeting new pals, and was actually the spark to the conversation that introduced him to some of his best friends today. His old stories are often quite the source of entertainment, and bat jokes are a usual occurrence. He especially enjoys joking that he's secretly a vampire bat out to get everyone and turn them all into vampires. Thanks to these jokes, he's become quite adept at making up scary stories on the spot.

His "wings" are also a fantastic way to carry around hidden snacks that no one else knows about so he doesn't have to share. He's become infamous for being "that one guy who always sneaks outside snacks into the movie theater". He's become so good at it that no one's been able to catch him red-handed - er, poncho'd?
