I've never heard of a mushroom chestnut before. Looks cool. Reminds me of a chocolate palomino

Mushroom is a theorized recessive dilution gene in chestnut based horses, that slightly fades red pigment in a horse's body hair coat. They often keeps that color when it becomes an adult, but some turn darker when an adult.

I based this guy on a black/liver chestnut
