Username ;; TheInsaneTwin
Position ;; Ghost Artist
How often are you online ;; I'm usually online daily, but it's mainly been on the mobile version lately.
Will you be on the community discord ;; I don't have a discord, but if I get one, I could try and be on every two days or so.
Do you have past experience ;; Most of my past experience was with horses, but I've created a few dogs. Other than those two times, no, I'm afraid I have little past experience.
Some of your favorite past designs ;; I'm kind-of proud of this 2016 akita-based entry and these late 2016 horses: 1 2 3
What would you contribute to the staff team ;; I'm reasonably level-headed, inquisitive, willing to receive and give advice, a quick study, and ready to help wherever it is needed (if possible). If an issue arises, I am not afraid to get my hands messy or tell it how it is (or at least how I see it, in some cases). Asking questions can be a specialty of mine, and I'm not afraid to ask if I don't understand. As a result, I can grow from that advice, regardless of how blunt or 'rude' it may come off as, and take in the case a similar question may arise. I like to see myself as a quick learner, one not requiring much training to get the vibe of things that is, and will come in handy if another position may need to be taken care of or filled. Tell me how you picture it or how you'd like it done, and I'll try my best to fill the set standards while seeing if I can contribute anything to it.
What are some of your strengths and weaknesses ;; I love working with the watercolor tool, and consider myself well-off when designing with it. As mentioned previously, I do learn fast, so genetics and phenotypes shouldn't have to be thoroughly checked for a long period of time. I am very shy, however, and I constantly over-think or over-complicate things. I see myself as a slow idea-generator and artist. (I ramble a lot, too, if you haven't noticed, and get tongue-tied or wordy.)
What is a situation where you would be biased ;; In the future, there may be a user I feel inclined to hold at higher regards, but, as of currently, I'm decently unbiased in situations. I can promise that it will not overcome my better judgement and fairness if said situation occurs.
Any additional information / other ;; If I do get a Ghost Artist position, the timing would maybe be around one every two weeks. I may put out a few faster around event times and near hiring (if that happens). I can also float to fill a needed position if necessary.

Howdy there! Sorry for not getting to this sooner, I'm normally not the person looking at these since the other owner generally runs these threads.
Most of my first suggestions are about the form, but your form looks great so I have really no comments about it either than it all looks fine :" >
What appears to be most of the issues with ghost artists is that most assume that we're not about the community and that we're just about the designs, but I know you're quite active with the events going on so I think moreso a question than a comment would be if you'd be willing to join the discord and if you'd want to be a part of that community-sense? It's kinda hard to gauge or see right now since most of the community is on discord, but all the staff are very close to one another and we're like a little family; so I don't really want to hire anyone if they just kinda wanna isolate themselves if that makes sense? Sleep on it for a few days maybe and think about it I would say.
Otherwise you seem to have a really nice hecking grasp of oekaki tools :0 So I don't really have any comments with that, either! My suggestion would be what I tell most other people- try a design you're not feeling too comfortable with, generally speaking this is normally brindle or merle for most users but its whatever you find might be difficult, and then try a design you feel better with! At the very least I'd like to see one of those more difficult designs just so I can gauge your abilities on those ^^
Overall with dogs my suggestion, artist entry or not but in general, is to reference reference reference; use pictures galore to look at different markings. Sweetnoses are pretty versatile because they can have almost any marking possible due to the various dogs- since for example, harlequin is only in Great Danes, but Sweetnoses are part GD- so literally just find a dog you really like and think is pretty and try it!

You can find all the genes here if you need to check;
One resource I highly suggest would be this site;
http://doggenetics.co.uk/
Which will give you information in both explanation and definition so it's easier to understand! It's not a rulebook to go by persay but more of a general idea / guideline, because we changed some things like series so I would ignore those, but otherwise everything like the color and the markings are all the same and they all have pictures with them to help. Thats especially helpful with things like eyes / nose color since they all vary based on coat type ^^
Hopefully this isn't too long or rambly for you since I tend to do the same myself, but if you have any questions feel free to let me know! We're all really collaborative with the staff and we like helping each other out, and do sleep on that question above since it's fairly important :")
Thank you for your entry and hope to hear from you!
