Feather Sprites, or Feas, are tiny little canine-esque fairy creatures. They hover everywhere, all the time, only stopping to rest and lay their eggs. When they stop, they almost automatically curl up into a ball the size of a quarter, using their wings and tails to hide. Feas are typically brightly colored like birds of paradise, although natural colors can be seen just as often. Their young, spritelings, are born in clutches of 2-4 pea-sized eggs that do not need incubation from a parent to hatch. Spritelings can hover only a few hours after hatching, and can eat for themselves after a mere week. Their diet consists of berries, insects, and love, putting them near the bottom of the food chain. However, they have no natural enemies aside from the weather - they're too small and brightly colored for anyone to want to eat them!
