Short Personality: Daemon is a fairly shy pimmie. With a kind yet sarcastic interior, Daemon's outside personality is nervous and untrusting, meaning that to reach the humour loving core, it'll require patience and work. He's of quite high class too, meaning he is well spoken and very tame.
Design Inspiration: Right... Since this is a MYO contest only allowing one entry, I had to be fair on myself and create a character that will be close to my heart if I were to win him. Daemon's base design inspiration is of a fox, specifically the red fox, one of my favourite animals. Sure, I will admit, he doesn't exactly look fox-like, but I'll get round to why the colours aren't accurate in a minute. The fox aspect is incorporated with the darker ear tips and the white features.

The base colour quite obviously isn't the same as the iconic orange-brown as a fox. I didn't want to design it purely as a fox - that isn't being original. But why choose burgundy? Burgundy is one of my favourite colours, taking its place amongst black and white. I didn't want to create too dark of a design and the burgundy really stood out to me (I did a quick palette swatch on MS Paint) to fit well amongst the other colours.

Last but not least, why should there be a heart and blushed cheeks on him? They were added as soon as I decided on his personality (I jotted a few words down on a notepad) to represent the shyness of Daemon. I also thought it would be a cute idea to include the heart - there's no background meaning behind that one.
