Entry Buckskin Appaloosa

Postby Medd » Wed May 13, 2015 5:46 am

    I'm sorry I overdid the spots ;n; Timer's a little off
I'll probably tweak this, also I hope the neck markings are acceptable.

    Anyway a buckskin appaloosa. <3

I simply adore this man!! That appaloosa is amazing and the cross marks are just fine because they extend onto his withers. :) The only think I'd love to see here is a bit of countershading. His un-appaloosa-ed parts look a little on the flat side, because they're all one colour. I like to take the watercolour or airbrush tool and brush in a little bit of lighter and darker tones.

I find that having a colour reference is super helpful! This horse displays the type of thing I'm talking about - see how across the topline, his coat is somewhat darker, and along the bottom, he's a little lighter? It just helps add that little bit of pop to the horse. :)

Thank you c: I'm so glad you like my other entry also! I'll make another couple tonight
I edited it - I hope it looks a little better? If not, I'll try again <3
