Species by UBM for Hohki's species contest

I'll post some info below, please tell me what you think. C:
  • They swim underwater, and breathe through small circular gills located on the neck under the chin.
  • Their body is grey and blue, their tentacles are grey and and white only, and their horns are a type of ivory blue.
  • They have 12 tentacles, 8 for swimming, and 4 for luring prey.
  • The 4 tentacles are about 1.5 times longer than the other 8.
  • The 4 tentacles must glow some shade of blue, (the blue must be the same for all the tentacles and the other parts of the body) it can be close to green or purple but it must be a variation of blue.
  • The 4 tentacles are used to lure prey, once the prey is close enough, they snap out the tentacle which sticks to their prey and instantly kills it because of poison on the tentacle. (the prey is then brought to their mouth and consumed)
  • They are immune to their own poison as well as the poison of others of the same species.
  • Their shells are mostly black and white with some other colors to camouflage them with the rocks.
  • The prefer cold and shallow (15-20 feet) salt water, and live mostly in arctic regions.
  • Each mini shell on their shell moves interdependently so that they may curve it for swimming, and arch it for hunting.
  • They tuck their claws under their armpits when swimming. (see picture)
  • They hunt by clinging to a wall with their claws, arching their shell, waving their tentacles in the water like a type of white, grey and blue sea flower that they co evolved with.
  • Males fight to the death for females by swimming backwards towards each other and bashing their hons against each others shells.
  • Males can also bend their horns up to 90 degrees in any direction at any given section so that the horns don't interfere with their hunting, but they can also lock their horns straight when fighting.
  • When a smaller male kills a larger male, they wear the larger males skull around their horns as a symbol of their manliness.
  • Males without skulls have almost no chance of finding a mate, so this actually works against larger males.
  • Males put 4 dots of their specific shade of blue on the opponent's skull that they wear, to prevent others from stealing it.

This looks like a perfect example of what an entry should look like in terms of information! This is the most complete one so far. The text in the drawing is a little hard to read, though, maybe make it darker?

Thanks for the feedback. C: I will make the text darker when I get time, but there isn't really any text on the the drawing that isn't in the description so you don't have to try to decipher my messy handwriting if you don't want to.
