I like the smoothness and how easily the colors blend together. Though if you want it to look more natural I would make it follow the curvature of the wolf. Like curving downwards when it hits the top of the legs and more upwards across the face and back. This could easily be achieved with the smudge tool.
The only thing left to do before you can move onto part 2 is to make a color in of this without the accessories to show the full design underneath. Pretend it's an adoptable and that the winner of the design can't use oekaki so they've asked you to make a reference without them for their future reference.
After you've done that, post here and let me know then you can go ahead and move onto part 2 c:
