Hey there, I'm Akua.

I work on an iPad, so designs take a tiny bit longer for me than they would woth a computor and art tablet for mulitple reasons. I have recently discovered my main design strength to be yellows/oranges/reds/summery colors, and my second greatest strength to be blues. My main weakness would be tans, and I rarely have muse for fitting patterns for tan designs. I love the idea of working with purples, which is something I haven't tried yet, but plan to do so soon.

I spend all my free time -- which is a fairly good amount of time -- online, and love being active in the communities of original species most. I also play around with designing quite a bit, and love making digital art. If you's like to see a few more design examples, feel free to PM me! Not all of them are on oekaki.

As an artist, I would promise you atleast one design a week, at the bare minimum. I promise that I would be as active as possible, and if I won't be able to for whatever reason, I will contact you as to why as soon as I can.

I would love to be an artist for this species for many reasons, here are a few. As soon as I saw them, I fell in love; I may have never posted on the thread or tried for one, but I've acctually been following these adorable little ones for a bit; I was just far too shy to say anything. So when I saw this competition while looking in, well, the competition oekaki board, I got really excited to try out; I knew I had to do it, and even if I'm not one of the lucky few picked, I decided this would be a good chance to come out of my shell. I feel that I would enjoy contributing to this community, and would love to aid in its growth. You have a wonderful species, and I would love to be a part of it. c:
