This girl/guy is based off of the flowering plant Milkweed and its yearly visitor of the Monarch Butterfly

The green coloring of this dragon allows it to blend in nicely with its sheltering plant. When threatened, the little dragon flies vertical to the ground, showing off the underside of its wings and its belly. The predator, believing it the poisonous Monarch Butterfly, leaves the dragon alone in peace.
