Her mane and tail are made of gas. That's why they're transparent and flowy.

This was a late entry for the comp, so I'll be keeping the design unless peach tea decides they want it, in which case I would be willing to negotiate a trade.

I changed the opacity of the layer to 85% and used the smudge tool to add some highlights with white.
