kira looked down at the earth in the penn were all the rest of her pack all the cubs as well. The pack had been running for weeks before as the men with guns followed them setting traps. Zinca the alpha had woken them before dawn. the hunters had come searching. i knew we shouldnt have taken the risk. it had been a lean winter this year even so thye should not have visited the coralls where the town livestock was kept. they had taken 2 of the cows to feed the pack. it was then that the people sent the hunters out. they had come in the middle of the night and taken them all by surprise . we all got up and raced of through the trees one by one they all caught up to us and had surrounded us. They didnt kill us. everyone knows we have magic and anyone around us will live longer and will make more money. All 15 of us were locked in a cage 5x5m long, not a lot of good food. i am the first to go i am finally free once more.
